First day of senior year ~ part 2

We arrive at school , all running to our first lesson , which we have together same as every lesson. Biology , I was never good but Katie was amazing so she helped me study , we sat together and Mason sat with Corey .They were the cutest couple , me and Katie always flirted with eachother but we never thought it was serious. We sat together working when I nudged her so she elbowed next back . Soon we were full on elbowing eachother and she was doing the giggle that gives me butterfly's , but she didn't know that . I've always liked Katie , just like every other boy she meets but I never told her because I know she doesn't feel the same .
Katie's POV
As we were elbowing eachother , I was just focused on Liam and his blue eyed . Yes I noticed little things about him and I think he's cute but I can't tell him that.Little did I know where these feelings would lead
~lacrosse tryouts~
I was outside waiting for the boys to start tryouts , and mason wasn't here yet. I called Liam multiple times and he didn't answer , he was so hung up on Hayden coach nearly made Greenberg captain , he really is hitting rock bottom. As soon as Liam heard that he came out sprinting onto the field in his training gear . His beautiful eyes shone in the sun , "oh shit" I mutters to my self , I can't have these feelings he's my best friend and he still so hung up on her . I didn't like Hayden , she took Liam away from me and he became really distant . She was so controlling but he loved her and I wanted him to be happy. I focus back on training and see Brett , yes Brett my ex Brett , that's a story for another time. Liam keeps geting distracted and me , being the worrying best friend that I am , had to get him off of that field before he clawed noen to pieces after he said something . We rush to the changing rooms , I told him to look at me but he wouldn't .
" look at me Liam, just look at me and breathe"
"I can't katie , I can't breathe it's taking over"
Liams been having struggles keeping in control since she left but I had to help him get over this.
"Liam look at me , it's your best friend the ine thats always been here and isn't going to leave you , no matter what"
We look at eachother and both start to lean in , my heart beating out of my chest , then in shoots mason , ruining the moment , mason and his perfect timing . I mentally curse at myself , what just happened or what was going to happen. Mason runs over to us as we shuffle further away so it seems like noting was happening.
