come to the geek side
π

My name is Jasper Levi Troy and I'm known as the geek. A couple of months ago I would've been in my basement right now, comfortably siting on a bean bag chair, while reading some good old classic comics with my buddy Archie. But instead, I'm on the love bed owned by the prince of Oak Hills High School, hand cuffed like some chained prisoner. Though, I'm getting ahead of myself because this all began that unfaithful day, on November 3rd...

"Oh, no, no, no, NO!!" Archie yelled out, jumping from the seat, and throwing out his hands into the air.
I laughed in triumph as Arhie's side of the screen went completely black and big red letters appeared saying, 'GAME OVER'.
"I win again." I said with a cocky attitude, happy about my victory. "I told you I'm undefeatable." I rubbed it in his face, cheering myself on like a complete loser I am.
"Whatever, you just won because I let you." He folded his arms and rolled his eyes at me, obviously annoyed at the fact that I had won and he didn't. What a sore loser, I thought to myself laughing even more then before.
I laid back in the bean bag chair, stretching out my arms and legs. "Well, I'm tired of playing video games. Wanna read the new comics I got this week?" I asked Archie, trying to make him feel better.
He raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of curiosity. "What new comics?" He sounded more interested and less sad.
"Oh, you know, the one of the most valuable comics ever in the sliver collection!! Amazing Fantasy, August 1962!!" I shouted in thrill as I held out the comic which was safely covered with a clear cover protector.
Archie squealed and I fell to the floor laughing at the sound of him. He snatched the comic from my hands while I held my aching stomach due to the extreme laughing. I tried to catch my breath but all I could do was continuously laugh.
"I can't believe you—" But soon both Archie and my laughing as well was cut off by a familiar voice.
"Hey dweebs, can you keep it down!! I have company over. Oh, and hey, fat lard, you're mothers looking for you." My sister, Morgan, insulted us loudly at the top of the steps of the basement.
"I guess I gotta go." Archie said in disappointment, and frowned at Morgan's rude comment.
I pushed back the comic in Archie's hand as he tried to return it to me. "You can borrow it. I don't mind." And at that moment Archie's grin widen ear to ear, and he squeezed me into a tight hug.
Morgan groaned annoyingly,"Okay, gay boys, stop molesting each other. And hurry your fat ass up, Archie, your mother is starting to throw a God damn bitch fit."
Archie hauled himself up the starts, and shoved past my brat of a sister, but before he disappeared, I saw him flip her off. Her jaw hung open, as she gasped. Morgan closed her mouth and soon stomped away, chasing at Archie. I just shook my head and sighed.

Three hours had passed since Archie left and Morgan's boyfriend, or whatever the heck he is to her, was still here, along with Vance. Yes, thy Vance Marks, the so called prince of Oak Hills High School. Most girls drooled over him because supposably he was this unbelievably gorgeous god. I mean, I'll admit he's a good looking guy, but I honestly don't know what girls see in him, besides the looks. Oh, wait, they don't see anything BUT the LOOKS.
As I was siting down playing Super Smash Bros on the xbox, just minding my own business when all of a sudden someone plops into the bean bag right next to me. I pause the game, and look oddly at the person beside me.
                "Vance?" I asked rather confused.
"Oh, don't mind me, continue playing, you're really good."
I shot him another puzzle look. Why was Vance down here, in the basement all by himself? Shouldn't he be hanging out with my sister and Gavin (Morgan's boyfriend)? I don't understand.
I cleared my throat and set the controller aside. "Where's Morgan and Gavin? Shouldn't you be with them? Gavin is your best friend after all, right?"
He gave a rather irritated look when I mentioned the two. "Well, you see I rather not be the third wheel. And of course Gavin is my best friend, but I'm not going to be hauled around just to be simply ignored." He paused for a brief moment, and then continued when he remembered something. "Oh, and they went to the mall, I didn't feel like going so I said I'd just stay behind. Plus, I'm Gavin's ride back home, you don't mind if I stay here with you, right?"
I shook my head, and gave him a small nervous smile. But I was literally ready to scream. This was just weird, and not to mention awkward. I never actually socialized with Vance before. Not ever in my life, well, not until today I haven't.

A couple of hours had passed by, and surprisingly Vance and I were playing videos games together. I thought it was weird at first for him to sit next to me, but now I think what's actually weird is him playing with me.
"I WIN!!" Vance had shouted aloud, as he threw his fist into the air.
I chuckled, noticing that I never would expect the prince to be so secretly geeky. "Okay, calm down, no need to get cocky."
"Oh, don't be a hypocrite." He stuck his tongue out like a child, but only ended up laughing. And I laughed along.
"Do you want to play something else? I also have Castle Crashers, if you want to play that." I asked, getting bored of playing the same game for hours.
"Sure, but can I use the bathroom first. I really need to go." He chuckled to himself.
I nodded in response and pointed to where the restroom was. "Its down there."
Vance got up, but the first step he took made him trip. The thing was, he ended up landing right on top of me. As he pushed himself up, our lips had become merely centimeters apart. Yes, I'm talking about centimeters, not even inches!! We were so frickin' close that anyone who walked in right now could mistake us for kissing.
But what had surprised me most of all was that fact that the space between us had disappeared. And when I realized it, I freaked out. Vance Marks, thy prince of Oak Hills High School was actually kissing me!!
