I have been writing for a long time, but this is the first time that I have had the courage to share what I wrote. I have been so lucky to find an amazing support system through Wattpad. I couldn't have finished this without the support of some wonderful people (sorry y'all, it's about to get corny).
First I would like to thank @Andyjo1. You were my first Wattpad friend and you made a lot of suggestions early on that shaped the story and my writing style. You took the time to leave in-depth critiques that not only improved my story, but also helped me to become a better writer. Your support only on gave me the courage to keep writing, even when I felt like giving up.
Next, a huge thank you to @CarsonFaircloth. Your hilarious comments always made me laugh and improved my confidence in myself and my writing. You also took the time to leave thoughtful feedback that helped me to work out issues I was having and improve my writing overall. I admire your writing so much and it challenged me to create engaging, relatable characters. I'm so glad I happened upon The Psychopath Next Door and found not only a beta-reader, but a friend.
Next, I need to thank @fallynsinclair. We actually met in the comments section of The Psychopath Next Door, and I loved discussing theories with you. Then I decided to check out your work and loved it just as much, and you were kind enough to read mine. You stuck with me until the very end, something I will always appreciate. Your comments always make me smile and your honest feedback was instrumental in writing this story. I would never have finished without your encouragement and support. Your story Falling Out of Time inspired me to keep writing, even when I felt like nothing was working, and taught me that I could always reinvent myself and my story. Thank you for being a reader, editor, and friend.
Finally, I would like to thank anyone who took the time to read my story. Your stars, comments, and messages always made my day, and I'm so grateful that you took the time to read anything I wrote. I would also like to thank you for putting up with my horrific updating schedule and constant changes.
Hopefully you'll all stick around for Shadows in the Trees: Book 2, coming soon!
