(Y/n)'s pov
When we reached the exam location, i see alot of people roasting the pig. And i culdnt help but cringe. The fire was too big and they didnt use any seasoning. They didnt even slice the pig. I sighed.
I walked over to my cooking spot and started slicing the pig. I took the best parts with just the right amount of fats, and started marinating it with the spice and herbs i found. After marination, i roasted it slowly over the fire, sprinkling some herbs while it was roasting. After some time, it was done. I plated it and gave it to the judge for taste test.
"Hmmn the taste is nice but the seasoning is abit weak. You pass"
I smiled and thanked the judge. I looked over and saw the guy who helped me struggling. I walked up to him, to offer help.
"Hey ummmm....do you mind if i helped you? I mean you helped me numerous times so if you dont mind..."
He looked directly into my eyes and stared into it. I could feel my heart pounding faster as i clenched my fist.
"Sure. Please do. Ah and...my name is Killua."
He said as he looked away from my gaze
"Ah? Umm ok.. Then ill begin cooling the pig now then killua-san!"
I started on roasting the pig for him and after it was done, he passed too.(His friends passed as well. I wonder who they are..)
After killua-san passed the second round, he came over to me and thanked me.
"Hey....umm thanks for helping me."
"Ah no no your welcome. You helped me lots as well killua-san."
I replied with a smile
"Hey...umm whats your name?"
He asked me as he turned away.
"Ah my name is (y/n)!"
"Ah..i see."
He started walking away but i could see the tips of his ear was turning red...
I felt my face heating up as i was left confused. I wonder if...i could get closer to him....
