Christmas! Yay! The joyful holiday that I celebrate, even thought I'm not religious. It's really about family and presents.
Christmas, you say? Isn't it Christmas DAY?
Christmas Day. It's a specific day. A holiday. One day event. It doesn't last a whole week! Or all of December! I don't get it.
Why do people say "Merry Christmas."
Why not "Merry Christmas Day?" or "Merry Christmasday?"
It's really confusing. I know it's an event, but it only lasts a day. Think about it. Halloween, Easter. It's really weird and I don't get it.
