Australia. Summer.

Australia. Summer. Those words probably don't really explain anything to people who don't live here. So I'm going to explain the significance. And why I'm ranting about it.

Australia is a red sand, barren dessert. Yeah, right. Well, not where I live. I live in the city sort of Australia, not the country. The country is mostly bush. Full of leeches and scratchy plants. But also gorgeous, rainbow birds, and our distinct trees. Places like NYC have bright green trees. We have our own original green. Kind of brown-ish, not really bright. But all that aside, we still have one trait of the desert. Heat.

Australia in summer is like living in a furnace. Of course, we have to warm up. At the start of summer we have slight rains and breezes. Gorgeous. Relaxing. Most people think of summer as a time for beaches and picnics. No. We stay inside, losing money on air conditioning. If you want to own an air conditioner company, move to Australia in the summer. Seriously.

I like Winter, because we can rug up and keep warm. But what do you do in Summer? Peel off your skin?

Hopefully that has explained the title. Peace out.

~so, I'm hoping to do a rant at least everyday for the rest of the summer. Pleace comment, share, follow and vote!~
