Lindsay POV
Jane collapsed to the ground when I told her about the baller. She unconsciously dropped the knife she has been holding and I quickly hide it at my back,knowing it could be handy.

Then she stands up and I'm confused.
Fred the back stabber asks her "Are you all right Megan?"
Then she says the unexpected "Nope cause now I remember"
He seems confused then out of nowhere she punched Fred the Backsatbber causing him to fly to the wall.
"My real name is Jane not Megan YOU LYING BASTARD"she shouts at him. Then she goes to the nearest person to her,who is me and hurries to untie me.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Fred tells her.

"As if I'd listen to you!"she shouts back.

Then Fred pulls out this remote which seemed so familiar.
He presses a button and watch as Jane clutches her head in pain. "GAH!"

I scream her name but she already blacked out.

"I'll be back in a few" he told us,leaving Jane on the floor.

I try to go to her and try shaking her awake. It's hard to do that when your hands are tied at your back though. Somehow I managed.

Fred comes back into the room."I guess your all wondering what I did to Jane." He tells us

We don't respond.
"Well,basically I put poison in her body. I think you know when that was Jane. And then in the poison is a way to hurt your body without killing it and also a poison which removes your memory. The memory poison only works once. But that other one is very hard to remove. So I can make her body hurt any time I want. But I can also kill her with a press of a button.. Anyway see yah losers."

I don't know why he would do that. Like tell us everything. We remain silent for a while. Until Mai speaks up.
"He used that on me" she says
"What do you mean"I ask
"Well he used to be my boyfriend, well we broke up and he got mad at me so he injected that into me and abused me through it. But..."

"But what?" Anna asks

"He said something about I'm only an experiment,like he said that the poison he injected into me wouldn't kill me. He also muttered something about upgrading it to make it worse."she said

And that's when I got shocked. I wonder how hard it was for Mai,seeing as Jane is still sleeping but her facial expression is as if something hurts.

"He also said that the poison he used on me was called the '2.0 version'. He explained that if the number is higher,the worse it is. And from what I remember that's the '8.0 version'"

Our eyes widen. Then Jane wakes up. "Lindsay I know you have the knife. I think we both know what to do"

I nod and start to work on the ropes on my hand. The other stare at me wondering what I'm doing. Then I finally got it. I break free and start untiying(idk the spelling) the ropes of the others. All of us stood up except Jane,who was still struggling to get up. I tried to pull her up but when my skin made contact with hers she hissed in pain. Then her eyes land on the baller,understanding this I grab the baller to pull her up instead of her hand. I'd, how that lessened the pain though. We run through the hallways sneakily. But we hear voices and hide in a nearby closet.

Jane POV
We hid in the closet as I heard the voices.
"You got the kid named Jane right?" the voice asks. I notice the voice from the time in that lab. When we tried to figure out what was in that manhole.

"Yes sir"another voice which I recognized as Fred. "Did you use the '8.0 version'?"the unknown voice asks

"Yes Dad" Fred answers. Then our eyes widen that his father is there.

"Look Fred,we discussed this already. In this place you are to call me Professor Wasaki,not Dad"

"My apologies Professor Wasaki" Fred answers.

Then at that moment I realized it. This guy planned my family's death. My death. He planned the zombies from the start. He killed my family. And I trusted this guys son. My emotions were so mixed up.
