Unfortunately, Scott gave me the summer to think about getting "The Bite". I was sure it was what I wanted. If Peter could help Lydia tap into her supernatural side, why couldn't Scott help me? I used that example with Scott and he didn't like it.

Anyways, when my dad and now ex-boyfriend, left for France, I stayed in Beacon Hill's kind of. I was tracking down Derek since he was totally MIA.

I ended up running into the Araya Calavera. I asked if she knew anything and she was actually honest with me. I had already known Kate was alive, so that didn't surprise me. What did though, was that she was also looking for me. She had been since I left.

So, from then on I kept my distance. I knew if I went snooping around, eventually, she would find me. I had been keeping my dad updated on Kate.

It was hard to talk to anyone for the first couple of months. I was still processing Alli's death, and every time I thought I was ok. A flood of emotions would destroy the wall I had built.

I went almost completely off the grid. But, I made a promise to my dad, Isaac, The Sheriff and Stiles, I would at least check in once a week.

I went down to visit Cora in South America. We went to Rio and partied. I had connected a few other people I knew, all over the world, I asked if I could come for a visit. It kept my mind off of missing my sister and mom. But, it didn't take the numbness away.

And I knew the one person in the world, who could make me feel whole was home. I could feel my heart pull to go back home, but I couldn't. Not yet.

I was currently in London. I flew in a few days ago and was sightseeing, selling, and buying some guns for my dad. The usual. I was jetlagged and exhausted, when I'd gotten to the hotel, I passed out almost immediately.

I heard it, small and echoey at first, untill it was like someone was screaming it in my ear. I sat straight out of bed, "Liam!"

I didn't know anyone named, Liam. I tried to think of anyone I had crossed paths with, but nobody came to mind. I looked at the clock, it read 1:53 am. Back in Beacon Hills, it was only 8:53. I grabbed my phone and called Scott, it had gone to voicemail.

"Scott, do you know anyone named Liam? If you do, find them now. I had an episode again and I can't protect them, but you can. I miss you and everyone. Bye." I couldn't sleep at all after that, so I lay staring at the ceiling for hours.

When it was early morning, I got up and ready. I was almost out the door when my dad texted.

From: Dad Argent

I'm flying to you, we need to help Scott.

To: Dad Argent

Does it have something to do with a Liam?

He didn't reply and I knew I was right. I met him at the airport and together we flew back to Beacon Hills. We picked up a few things that were in storage and off we went to Lydia's parent's lake house. "We haven't been here, since the funeral," I say, thinking out loud.

"We will survive this. It's what we do." He said, unemotional.

"There is something seriously broken with us. We compartmentalize so much, at so young. It's not healthy." I hit my head against the back of the seat. "I miss them."

"I do too. But, we can only live for them now. We have to help Scott's Beta now." He parked the car.

"I hate it when you're right." I unbuckled and was already getting the emitters out of their case, and setting them up to corral Liam.

I met back up with dad and saw Scott with him. "How did you know?" Scott asked my dad.

"I got your text."

"Actually, we got your text," I say coming out from behind a tree.

"There's a clearing, just north of here. All you have to do is corral him there." Chris explained.

"The rest is taken care of." I winked at Scott.

"What are you guys gonna do?"

"He's your Beta, Scott. The better question is what are you going to do?"

"He won't listen to me." Scott said.

"He will if you start using your own words." I suggested, then we all heard Liam's screams.

"Here." My dad handed Scott the remote to turn off the Ultrasonic Emitters. And Scott ran off.
