On the same day in October 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir. Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world.
But not everything went according to plan.
Prudence Cain. Born in September 30th 1989. unlike those forty-three infants, she was born a day before them. However, her mother also showed no signs of pregnancy the day before, and like them; she had powers. powers beyond anyone can imagine. she has psionic/telepathic abilities. meaning she can communicate with anyone through her mind, make a person or any living creature feel pain through their head. make them unconcious or make them forget anything she wants and can also kill them. a very powerful type of ability.
she used to be acquaintances with the so called Umbrella Academy. but after being kidnapped and tortured, they did something to her that altered her aging process. therefore she couldn't even age a day. she returned only to find out that, her best friend ben died and her aunt left— right after she gets kidnapped.
Five. who was he in her life? an acquaintance. a friend. more than that maybe. it didn't matter. he left. leaving her with her with her abusive aunt— leaving her to get kidnapped and tortured.
after years he came back, so did she. so did the entire umbrella academy. and the next few days changed her entire life completely.
