The weekend was uneventful, Taehyung had just searched for jobs for hours on end, to no avail. No one seemed to be hiring, but Taehyung stayed positive. He would find a job, he would find a job, he would find a job.
Today was Monday, his first day at Bighit. He was nervous, as expected.
But Taehyung considered himself a very friendly and outgoing person, so making friends would probably be easy. Being with friends eased anxiety for Taehyung, he was a people person.
So he plastered a bright smile on his face as he walked into the unknown building, cheap new clothes making him feel unwelcomed compared to the well known brands he recognized decorating the rest of the students. He had only got into this school because of a scholarship, which was very, very rare.
The students stared as he entered, scowls not very well hidden. Taehyung smiled at them regardless, clutching onto the straps of his backpack tightly.
He had only just found and opened his locker when it was rudely slammed shut, almost catching his fingers in the process. He looked up, suprised, to find a tall, smirking brown haired man.
"New kid?" He asked the guys behind him, who Taehyung didn't notice, too short to look over the unknown man's shoulder.
"Never seen him around before, I would remember a face like that," Someone commented, earning a few snickers.
"Um, h-hi!"
"What's your name sweetheart?" The one who shut his locker asked.
Taehyung frowned, he didn't like it when this guy called him 'sweetheart'. It didn't sound right. "K-Kim T-Taehyung,"
"R-really? C-can't e-even s-say your o-own name?" Someone else mocked.
"Shut up Bogum, he's cute," He turned to Bogum, smacking him upside the head before turning back to the silver haired beauty. "My name's Minho, that idiot is Bogum, that's-" There were a few more people, all standing behind Bogum.
Taehyung smiled, learning all of the names quickly. Maybe they could be friends? He was a little wary of Bogum, who glared at him heatedly.
"It's n-nice to meet you all!" He grinned his brightest, holding his books in his arms as tight as he could. "Uh, I h-have to get to my f-first class, but it-it really was n-nice to meet you!"
"No, I think you'd like to stay here with us," Minho's smile turned devious, pushing the shorter against his locker, elicting a suprised squeak. The books Taehyung held to his chest were the only things seperating them.
"P-please, move. T-The b-bell already rang, I-I d-don't want to g-get in t-trouble," He usually wouldn't stutter this much, but he was nervous, these guys seemed like trouble. And they were targeting him.
"Oh sweetheart, who cares? Wouldn't you like to stay and have some fun with us instead?" Bogum, who he was finally able to look at, questioned him.
The small silver haired boy looked like he was about to burst into tears, which he was.
"Oh god. Fuck off guys! You're clearly making him uncomfortable. Go fuck someone else!"
"Seriously Yugyeom? You always ruin everything. We just wanted to have some fun!"
Taehyung couldn't see what was happening, but he heard a slam and a groan, and he could only hope that 'Yugyeom' wasn't hurt.
"Alright alright! I'm sorry, we'll leave him alone! But next time, you won't get this lucky!" Minho yelled, holding his now bleeding nose as he ran off. Bogum grimaced as he held his side, limping, and the others followed like puppies.
