I turn around to see chandler and jimmy standing there with a grin on their face.

Jimmy: don't mean to interrupt anything.
Y/n: no you weren't
Chandler: mhm whatever
Karl: she just hugged me cause she won.
Jimmy: ok ok whatever
Y/n: ya know I'm just going to head out for awhile.

I go downtown for awhile to clear my head. Then all of a sudden I run into someone.

Y/n: oh I'm sorry
Ben: it's ok, uh hi I'm Ben.
Y/n: oh hi I'm y/n.
Ben: nice to meet you.
Y/n: nice to meet you too.

We exchanged phone numbers and said goodbye. He was sorta cute. I can't tell Karl about him. I don't know how he would react.

(Later that night)

Ben texted me and asked me on a date. I go get ready for it.

Y/n: hey jimmy I'm going on a date with this guy I ran into today. Just please don't tell Karl.
Jimmy: ooh looks like someone is too scared to tell Karl.
Y/n: I am not! I just don't want him to know.

I head out for the date.

Karl's POV:

Karl: where's she headed to?
Jimmy: oh just a date. I mean uh I wasn't supposed to say that.
Karl: A what! With who?! Who is it?! Jimmy!
Jimmy: woah calm down I don't know some guy she ran into today.

What? I can't believe it. Why would she do that?

Jimmy: looks like someone is a little jealous.
Karl: I am not I'm just...... protective.
Jimmy: hm sure

(The next day)

My date with Ben was awesome he was super nice. I wake up and head downstairs.

Karl: oh hey so how was your night last night?
Y/n: good why?
Karl: nothing

We stood in silence for a while until Karl broke it.

Karl: are you kidding me y/n!? A date? A date?
Y/n: what how do you know? And yes a date.
Karl: jimmy accidentally told me. But why?
Y/n: why are you so jealous Karl.
Karl: cause I really like you!

The room goes silent.

Y/n: I'm sorry Karl I just can't. I want to but I can't.
Karl: why? Why can't you then?
Y/n: Cause of Chris.

Speaking of which, Chris comes downstairs.

Chris: hey guys what's going on? I heard yelling down here.
