3rd Point of View
At the Modern Crime Prevention Task Force, everyone is chilling as usual. But Aia is nowhere to be found.
I wonder where she is-
"Are you sure, you're fine to go to work?" a certain winehead stands in front of Aia's doorstep as she prepares to leave, tying her hair in a low bun. Hoshino eyes her with uncertainty and worry.
Since today is Hoshino's off day, he won't be seeing Aia much. And remembering the other day's incident still worried him.
"Yes, Ryo-kun. I'm fine, plus Haru is with me. You know how caring he is." Aia smiles to placate her.
"That makes me worry more..." says Hoshino under his breath. The fact that she's not in the same rank as him annoys him, but knowing that Haru is by her side almost everyday irks him more.
"What?"
"Nothing." He looks to the side, coughing.
Aia sighs and shakes her head before wearing her cream oversized sweater, covering her white camisole with it. She grabs her brown ankle boots and puts them on.
"How about this, If I feel the minimal dizzy, I will call you and I'll let you baby me, in return I will cook your favorite food."
Hoshino's stern expression immediately softened and his eyes glazed over. Thinking of her cooking his favorite food while he waits in the living room made him feel...some kind of way.
The vision he imagined himself made him feel like a husband.
Aia looks at him expectantly and he throws away the embarrassing (but not unwelcome) thoughts from his head. He looks down at her with barely noticeable blush on the apple of his cheeks (face cheeks, ya nasties.)
"..."
"...Promise?"
They sealed the deal with a pinky promise and a hug.
MPD.
"Good morning, everyone-! Oi, why is Haru looking constipated?" Aia enters the room and sees Haru scowling at his compute as if it insulted his ancestors.
"Good morning, Aia-chan! It's nothing~ Kato-kun just refused to be Kambe-kun's instructor." Mahoro cheerily smiles. She hands her an opened pack of Gummy Fish. "Would you like one?"
Aia smiles, "Sure~" she got a green puffer fish, Mahoro beams, "Oh! Lucky! A lucky start to the day! Just like Kambe-kun!" at the mention of his name, steely-blue eyes slides to them, gaze pinned on the newly arrived Aia. On his hand is the red sea bream that he has yet to eat.
Aia looks down at the gummy puffer fish then to the millionaire and grins, "Lady Luck is on my side today~" she walks to her post, between Kambe and Mahoro, as she sits down, she nods at Kambe who reciprocated.
