An unexpected invitation

* I know it's not that long, it's not that good but hope you like it anyway*

Caroline's POV

I rushed to the school hallway confused, what could they know about me, I tried to forget all of that but I just couldn't, it's just not normal.

I walked to my locker, as I opened it, a small note fell to the ground. I bent to pick it up, it says Caroline on the envelope, It was more of a letter than a note. It was decorated with gold edges on the sides, even my name was written in gold.

I couldn't tell if it was real gold, all I knew is that I was too scared to open it. 

I decided to count to ten, that what my dad told me to do if I got scared, my dad is the most important man in my life. I don't need love, I don't need money, all I need is him being by my side.

So I took his advice, I took a deep breath and start counting, one two three...ten. I got too excited so i skiped to ten and opened it.

Ms. Caroline Paige

You are cordially invited to attend the annual ball held by the Richard family this saturday in the Richard's mansion. We will be delighted to have you amongst us on this auspicious day.

Richard family

This is my first day of school, and someone already inviting me to a ball.I saw the hot blonde guy coming, I turned around and hid the letter.

Suddenly I felt a hand placed on my shoulder, causing me to turn around. I saw him, big brown eyes, golden hair and pale skin, yep it was him.

"Did you recieve the letter" he asked smiling.

"Wait a minute, you put it in my locker" I asked confused.

"Yeah, I'm Jesse Richard" he replied.

"Nice to meet you, but I really don't understand, why did you invite me" I asked.

"Nice to meet you too, well I invited you because I need a date" he said smiling.

"Yeah but why me, you don't even know me" I said rudely.

"Would you stop the questions, do you want to go or not" he said.

"Sorry, I said that in a rude way, may you please be my date for the ball" he said smiling showing his white teeth.

"Sure" I replied walking away to end the awkward conversation.

Aerius's POV

I was thrilled, I was going to finaly meet my granddauther. 'Aura why did you have to leave me, and leave your kingdom, all that for a love of a human'. 

I've been repeating this sentence for 20 years, but its time to forget the past.

Aura left me a gift, a treasure to keep safe from people's selfishness. I just hope she accepts me, but the most important thing, is that I hope she can accept herself.

Saturday, at the ball, I'm going to tell her the truth about our family, sigh, its going to be hard for all of us.

Jesse's POV

She was wearing a sleeveless lilac dress making her look more sexy than usual. She was a big influence on my life, She made me believe in love at first sight.

My father always told me, that we elementals can love at first sight, I didn't believe him then, but now I understand.

She was a light in a sea of darkness, she was the sun of my sky, the waves to my shore, the breath to my lungs. The thing that's driving me insane is that, I have all these strong feelings for her and we only talked once.
