Aira went downstairs. Eli and Dex were both sleeping. She found Kate chatting with Irene and Amor.

"Good morning. You're early", she told Kate

"Not really. It was past 8:00 am already", she said. "Coffee?", she asked Aira

"Yes please, thank you. Why are you up already?", Aira said as she sip her coffee

"I nursed Riley and I got hungry. She's napping now", Kate said

"Are these the bread from Le Monet?", Aira said as she took some bread and spread

"Yup. I ate the alfajor. Really delicious di ba Irene?", she said

"Opo", sabay pakita pa ni Amor

"I like that too. Penge", Aira said and she enjoyed it. "Truly goes with coffee".

"You're enjoying it here, yeah?", Kate said

"I love living here because Dex and Eli were here. But yeah, I'm not really going anywhere here. I'm not used with the life outside of the village", Aira mused out loud.

Now that Kate mentioned it, Aira realized that she's good just being in the house and be with Dex and Eli. Sometimes, when they went with Dex to the Shelter for Humanity, she was happy. It was sometimes depressing for her but the beneficiaries have a ready smile for them. It was truly amazing and that's what made their volunteer work a rewarding endeavour.

"Good morning", Kate said

Aira turned around and saw Dex with Eli

"Good morning bebe", she said and stood up to kiss Dex and Eli.

"Good morning Kate", Dex smiled at Kate. "He was looking for Mommy. Nanaginip yata pero ayaw magpa diaper", Dex said sitting beside Aira and taking the coffee that Irene gave him.

"You want sa learning tower?", Aira asked Eli but he shooked his head and snuggled against Aira.

"I think he was still sleepy", Kate said.

"he was tired from all the all-day performances that he did yesterday", Aira said, remembering how excited Eli was.

"You want to see the doggie or the horse?", Dex asked him and he shook his head again and whimpered.

Aira rubbed his back. "Not yet in the mood Babe", she said, keeping her smile. He had been the life of the group. Now he felt tired, hihi.

"Wala pa nga sa mood si master", Dex said and asked Irene some food.

"I made a baked-mac", Kate said and natuwa naman si Dex.

"Yown. Miss ko na nga luto mo eh. Dali nga Irene", he said rubbing his hands together, can't wait to taste it.

Dex took a mouthful. Eli glanced at him. Dex offered some to Eli and he hide his face on Aira's bosom.

"Sobrang pagod ah. Suplado", Dex whispered to Aira and Aira just signed for Dex not to mind Eli at all, so Dex just ate his breakfast.

Then Bry walked to the dining. Kate smiled at him but didn't go near him. Bry went to her and kissed her, then sat beside her.

"Ang aga ng chikahan?", he said. Irene asked if he liked coffee.

"Yes please Irene, thank you", he said and saw the baked-mac. "Nagluto ka?", he asked Kate

"Yup. It was early and I nursed Riley so Irene and I cooked something else.", she said
