the storyline for holler centers around three noblewoman who take a place together. outside of the palace, their dressed in standards and act stern. inside however, they are living it up, being who they truly are.
the castle is a metaphor for society and how people who are outside of the societal norm have to hide and suppress who they truly are

the opening shots show the girls exiting a horse drawn carriage. a lord of some sorts tells them from the cabin to 'beheave while the king figures out what to do with unwilling brides'. The carriage pulls away and the girls walk into the palace.
