- Dave's POV -

I woke up early today, well, I didn't wake up early, I just couldn't sleep

I had something on my mind

Someone on my mind.

Did Jack really mean it, he knows I can't, I'm straight-

Even though every woman I've dated it felt sorta, empty...

No. I'm not gay, I'm straight, everyone I knew told me that, even Henry

Except Jack...

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket from last night and I messaged Old Sporty

:Hey Old Sport! Can I ask you a question at work??

I felt my face heat up thinking about how I would approach this subject in person

"It was just that fricken alcohol, we were drunk, it meant nothing,"

I stood up from my bed covered in glass bottles, ugh, I got to throw those nasty bottles away.

Maybe I should go to work early, so when Old sport comes I could talk to him, and maybe if he really feels that wayI could-

"Dave, don't be ridiculous, Jack's straight, your straight,"

...

"Maybe I'll just ask him if it was the alcohol talking!"

Yeah. Just that....

I quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed and I started my walk to work

I continued to think about Old Sport, the more I thought about him the more I felt a bit

Happier?

***

I walked threw the front door into the pizzeria, I wonder when Old Sport is gonna come today

"Hey Phone Brian!" I yelled out, walking over a blood stain leading to the safe room

I started my walk towards Phone &@#$'s Office

"Don't you dare tell him I was here or I'll kill some more kiddies, got it?"

"U-uhuh,"

My pace grew faster, was that Old sport? It couldn't be, it sounded like they were trying to whisper but instead they whispered in a loud tone.

I slammed the office door open and I immediately got pushed to the side as someone ran past me

"OLD SPORT!" I yelled as I ran after him

I could have easily outran him if it wasn't for something catching my eye

A phone, not just any phone

it was Old sport's (OMG WHATS WITH ME AND PHONES, geez.) : , )

It was shattered on the floor, did he seriously-

A blank smile grew on my face,

"He doesn't want me around doesn't he?" I said in a screechy tone

I picked up the remains of the phone and ran out the back door and ran towards my house

I felt my eyes burn, I haven't cried since Henry died

I slammed my house door open.
