The Tests

They were greeted to 3 men in full protective gear, including gas masks, when the back hatch opened. There was a tent set up outside the rescue ship in attempt to quarantine any harmful bacteria.

"Dexter! What the hell are you doing in there" a shout was heard.

"Im the pilot, ain't I? Just wanted to make sure our guests made it over alright" he replied. Ripley could begin to tell the type of person dexter was. Quirky and layed back. It's a common effect when stuck on a spaceship with not much to do.

"Well thats what the droids are for. Get out. You could be contaminated "

All three got out. They appeared to be in a quarentine tent.

"You two, stand on the podiums" one said.

Ripley and bishop went over to the black metal plate that lay on the floor and where greeted by a thin robot with several long arms with purple rays emmiting from them onto their bodies. As it scanned bishop it seemed to get confused.

"ITS NOT A TERESTRIAL BODY" It spoke.

Bishop lifted his hand and showed his wrist which had wires sticking out of it.

"Im an android" he said.

The scientists were silent. They seemed unsure what to do. One eventually spoke, "Well you can step off. Follow me to the robotics depo, we can get that mess cleaned up" bishop willingly stepped off and followed the scientist. He have a quick glance at ripley and she saw.

The robot then turned to Ripley and scanned her. It scanned for a much longer time and swabbed he skin and saliva and tested it for a while. It was apparent to bishop that the results had appeared on a near by screen on the outside of the tent.

As he was being taken away, he bolted away from the scientist to the screen. He was taken down by a nearby security guard with a tazer. His body was dragged by two more away from sight of ripley. She was confused at what happened. It made her curious for what they might have found.

"So how am I? Am I contaminated with anything?"

A scientist looked up at her and said "no, you're clean. But you haven't had the basin vaccine"

Some scientists where shocked, some gasped, putto g their hands to their faces. ripley saw this. She was concerned, after years of isolation she appeared to have missed out on an important vaccine.

"When did you enter that sleeping chamber ripley?" The scientist which analysed the results asked.

"The year 2179" she answered.

One scientist turned to guard and said "get the commander down". The guard ran off up some stairs.

He then ordered another to get the vaccine.

"Ripley, stay calm you're not in danger or ill. It's just a procaution, okay? What's your first name?" He said.

"Ellen" she answered

"Okay Ellen, I'm Vincent, and you're going to be just fine", he said.

"What's going on?" Ripley asked.

"I can't tell you now Ellen. Just hang on, you're fine" vincent said.

Ripley remained on the plate with no one standing near her. She was scared. Bishop had gone and dexter was being cleaned outside the tent. She truested Vincent, that she wasn't in danger. It must just be a vaccine for a disease that was a growing threat in the past. One that had thrived after the events of the nostromo she thought. Soon loud footsteps could be heard. Through the sparsely transparent plastic tent she could see three figures discussing outside. As they came closer the sound soon it escalated and one was shouting at the other two.

"You've endangered all of us! Now what we just vaccinate her and hope nothing noticed! We are on our own here, this could be the end of us!" He was shouting.

"We didn't realise how old she was..." one answered.

"Well now we could be done for. Our families, friends, pets. We're all dead meat! When we're hiding in the crawl spaces you and your dumb fucking decision makers will be the ones we throw out as a distraction!"

Ripleys heart thumped. What he was describing brought bad memories to her. Crawling in crawlspaces and hiding from the creatures. What has she done that could have caused such chaos.

"Look sir, we have an idea" the one being shouted at said.

Ripley listened in closely along with all the scientists around her.

"What is it" the sir questioned.

"Well she is the only one they can sense. We lock everyone in their chambers leave her..." he suddenly dipped his voice realising she might hear him. Ripley was concerned beyond comprehension. After he had finished talking. There was some more discussion and eventually the sir came in. He was a blond haired man with a short beard. He was wearing a gold and white suite with a large silver collar. He was medium hight and has a nasty look on his face.

He read from a tablet to her,

"Ripley, female, last awake in the year 2179? Found astray in a escape pod from a ship made in 2128. you're ship had an infestation and you have been traveling through empty space for 1974 years".

He looked up at her and frowned. "You expect me to belive this? That your ship just drifted to the end of the Galaxy where you fortunately found us? Cut the act. You were sent here as bait. You were the carrot on the stick above those face huggers..."

Her heart pumped hard. She could feel the fear and terror return to her when he said those words. She had no idea what he was talking about, but she now knew the threat of those creatures had only grown, and yet again she was in the middle of it. The commander looked at her face. He could see she knew what he mean by face hugger.

"Yes. She knows" he spoke softly. "Where are the eggs? On the pod?"

Ripley was dazed. So much had happened. She thought she had made it to a safe haven. But there was a conspiracy threatning the entire ship, she was being spoken to as if she was intending to cause trouble. She couldn't speak.

"Take her out to her escape pod, stick a pipe throigh her back and out her chest and put a childs toy bear on the end. Send it out back to the galaxy. They might pick it up and get the message" he spoke.

Two guards came in and grabbed ripley. She panicked at the thought of going back and fought back. Kicking and pulling her way away. But the eventualy lost the battle and was tugged into the same ship she had just came out of. He and the two guards were sat in the passenger seats while the droid KEN prepared for take off. She stared at the teddy bear in front of her. Some how she was terrified of it. Looking at it like a xenomorph.

She spoke "have you guys ever seen one"

The guards looked at each other, "What, an engineer?"
