Bruises

I breathe in and out my nose harder and harder and start shaking.  All of a sudden I feel hands on me and I move back closer to the wall and ball up.

"Please don't hurt me please" I beg still not seeing who it is.

"Tianna it's us. Please tell us what's wrong." I hear Brandon say.

I unball myself and look at them whimpering.

"I can't believe it. I just can't." I say to them and pull out the note showing them. Eric and Brandon facial expressions both turn from concerned to angry in a matter of seconds.

"Tianna please tell me this is a joke." Eric says balling his fist so tight that it's turning red.

"No it's not." I say shaking my head. "He is in my class right now and i just had to get out of there." I said to them sadly.

"I'm just tired of all this. First the store, Jackie, the beach, then my ankle, and now this. How much more can I take?" I say to them tiredly.

"You know you have to tell Leo and your dad right."

"I know but I really don't want to. The way that they are gonna react is really harsh and I know that Leo is gonna try and find Jack and kill him on the spot." I say to them hanging my head.

"You're right. I don't wanna pressure you but you have to tell someone. Keeping it a secret isn't gonna help." Eric says rubbing the back of my hand.

"You're right. I'll tell my dad first after I go to my mom's house. I agreed to meet her kids and husband this weekend." I say to him then reaching out signaling him to help me up. He helps me up then Brandon gives me my crutches.

"Alright. Please be careful at school today. We aren't always with you unfortunately." Brandon says to me.

"I know I'll try my hardest." I say giving them both hugs.

We all go back to class. I limp slowly to class, not wanting to go back in there and see that stupid smirk on his face.

I unfortunately get to class with 20 minutes left in class. I limp in and everyone looks up for a quick second than looks back down, everyone except HIM.

"Tianna are u okay?" Lelani asks with a concerned look on her face.

"I'm as okay as I can be" I say sending a smile.

"Good" She says relieved. I just try to focus on my work instead of the eyes that keep looking at me.

Time skip To Lunch 

The bell in this class finally rings signaling my lunch time and I wait till everyone leaves then leave the class. I limp slowly to the lunch room when I see all the boys sitting at the table already except Leo.

"Hey y'all" I say looking around for my bf.

"He told me to tell you he on the way back to the school." Bryce says to me chuckling.

"Okay. Back from where?" I ask.

"I don't know he didn't tell me" he says after drinking his Gatorade.

"So how has school been so far for y'all?" I ask starting small talk. They all tell me school has been good today and start their own conversations.

"Hey guys who wants to watch Spider-Man with me when it comes out?" I ask.

"All of us duh" Bryce says chuckling.

"I don't know Spider-Man isn't all that." Brandon says making a thinking face.
