Sawyer's Pov
We were at the entrance of a very huge private land just outside of Raven hills. Before Rickshaw Creek.
It is a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Only two roads link to this place. The express and the back country road, off the creek.
It's all cabin and nature out here.
The place is called Beacon mountain. I searched it up online and found out it belonged to a group of fucking rich families, who purchased it from the government, a long time ago. It's like a freaking village.
The voice of the camp guide reached my ear, snapping me out of my gawking mode.
I joined the rest in carting my bags away into the truck that takes the luggage in."Hello, Hi, Adios, welcome to our
Private resort". "It's called The Beacon mountain village".
"My name is Brian Starr and I'm your tour guide. The guy said with a large smile"."Everyone here is into groups.
Since your bus arrived late",
He paused, staring into the iPad in his hand, before getting back to the instructions."Your group would be Epsilon team".
"Any questions before I move on?
Harper raised her hand,
"How many people are people are in a team? "Twenty" he answered curtly."A set of twenty people would stay in the same, five bedroom cabin".
"Each cabin consists of three bathrooms, one veranda, a kitchen, a living room and a spaced garden".I looked at this Brian. He was about 6ft"2, lean, dark haired, blue eyes and young and full of life. Like those guys with smiley faces all the time.
"So you guys would be staying there for a week".
"Wait!a week? A chubby girl with Auburn hair and bold makeup, asked from behind."Yeah a week, you didn't Know?
The girl just shook her head.
Brian rolled his eyes before asking,
"Do you even know what you're here for?"Actually I was told it's a party for a few days. Just party, like a carnival".she said sounding unsure, while some people snickered and giggled at her.
"No! Brian laughed deeply, although not mockingly like the rest of the guys who were snickering at her.
"No it's not a party party".
"It's a summer camp games party".
"It includes, hiking, mountain climbing, talent show, fashion, drama, sport, fitness and workouts, brain storm and alot of outdoor games, and a whole lot of party"."There are eight teams in total and only one team would rise as the winner". "A team loses every night". "And the party begins every night". "During the day is for games".
"But there are rules, you have to follow". "And we also invited a special band to play for the grand finale".
"No trespassing beyond where you're accessed to".
"Only the cabin resort is open, but you're restricted from the rest of the woods towards the West is totally restricted".
"Why? "What's up there?
Sydney asked."Well from what I gather, he paused staring at us to see if he got all our attention, which he did.
"The owners of the of the resort said", another Cliff hanger.
We scooted closer to him to get his attention.
"Well they said, it's classified".He said and bursted out laughing at his prank, we were all so disappointed. I think most of us were expecting some deep secret or spooky stuff. Others yelled for him to stop, while a few found it funny too. Well I didn't.
"Seriously guys, I have no idea".
He said with a stern, hard look if that's possible with Brian's kind of face.
"All I know is that, it's restricted and we are not allowed beyond the place".
