Feelings ?

So we get home that day from the game and I left off where thinking to myself if I had feelings for the kid.

I got home and went to my room and started listening to music and I couldn't stop thinking about him and my moms boyfriend sent me the pictures form the game that day.
Nick: thank you for coming it was fun hanging out
Me: your welcome I had a lot of fun
Nick: Eric is like you he's shy quiet keeps to himself and he's a really nice kid
Me: oh ?
Nick: yeah😁😂
So after I layed there and thought about what he said and everything did at the baseball game.

My thoughts: there's no way this kid likes someone like me but he's giving me some hope that he does 

I got cut out of my thoughts by my friend texting me and I tell her everything that happened. She tells me to add him on Instagram I said I will soon but not right now.
Me: he's really cute and I really think I'm starting to like him even tho I just met him
My friend: oooh what does he look like
I send her a picture and she says
My friend: awww you guys would look cute together
Me: really 🥺
My friend: yes you would
Me: aww thanks that means a lot
My friend: your welcome
(The next few days pass and my mom moms boyfriend ask me if we want to go to his house for a cookout and to hang out)
Nick: would you guys like to come over sand have a cookout
Us: sure why not
( so we get there and we go downstairs because the boys were staying at his house for the baseball season and they had the upstairs)
We all start talking and I hear walking from the upstairs so I ask nick
Me: who's upstairs
Nick: Eric
Me: oh he's home I thought they had a game today
Nick: no they have the day off Eric has been home all day in the pool
Me: oh nice lol
Nick: yeah
So we were all chilling and then we ended up going outside to go swimming and we all had our bathing suits on and we were all sitting at the table outside first and Eric walks out the door looks at us and waves looked at me smiled then walked out the gate and comes back few minutes later.
He went inside and we all ended up going swimming and we were playing horse and then both boys ended up coming outside and leaving and 20 minutes later came back with food and nick stopped them and we were all talking to them for a few minutes and Eric looks over at me smiles and looks away
( my head: omg he smiled at me)
After we all got done talking we ordered pizza and wings and ended up going home around 11 and we were all tired.
So I got home and was telling my friend what happened the whole day
Me: I caught him eyeing me a few times while I'm in my bathing suit
My friend: oooh did you talk to him
Me: yea we did a few times
My friend: ooo that's good
Me: yeah I think I'm falling in love with this kid
My friend: awww that's sweet you should try and shoot your shot don't be afraid
Me: yeah I just don't wanna get hurt again bc have you seen him then there's me
My friend: shut up your pretty for him but looks don't matter it's the personality
Me: yea I don't go for looks he has an amazing personality and he hot lol
My friend: lol yeah just take your time and let things flow the way they're supposed to I believe in you guys

And then we start talking about everything that happened and just everything else that day and we eventually stopped talking and I was getting tired so I tried going to bed but I gave up after like 20 minutes of trying so I put my AirPod and started listening to music and started crying bc I felt empty and alone but when I'm around the kid I feel complete and Full so I cried until I fell asleep.
