"I suppose we come to speak of our hearts content, king Arden of Lavenstar," Velder's king drove everyone to cold silence once more "i'm no brainless stinking pig as you think, i know the reason why you invited us in this name day.. as you didn't mind to invite us in the past, You called upon me to offer allegiance? or perhaps to seek my daughter's hand in marriage to unite us all under your banner? "  The crown prince was alarmed of what he said, and carefully reached his sword.  " and I say this, What a wonderful idea! My daughter will surely be a nice queen someday "
King arden was troubled, for he has only wanted Ayden, his heir to khysfyre to be the one who may wed the princess of velder. He never wanted a velduan queen for he knew that their living cannot be fit to rule a kingdom like Lavenstar. He is afraid that liberation and violence might destroy the legacy of his bloodline.

" pardon me my friend, for my first born has already taken heart for another. But my second son, heir to the fire kingdom will gladly take your daughter's hand in marriage." The king suggested, Aspyn rose up on his seat and went beside his father, knowing what threat may come. Making a sacrifice for himself for the kingdom. Laughter from the boastful king echoed in the silence of the halls, hands trembled in horror for what threat may he speak of. " I am the king of the only free kingdom within your reach, are you scared Arden king?"  Arden held his anger inside him, " Your pride cannot measure how strong you are, No I am not afraid of you! "  Brembo laughed harder with his bastard sons. " Then theres nothing more to discuss! "  they tore the table they sat upon as they went out the palace gates. The people though filled with fear stayed where they are to hear out their King, murmurs flooded the ears of the royal family .
" this castle stood strong since the time of my fathers, and it will stay strong through the tides of my reign... Where is my eldest son?"  Azra went infront of the king and bowed down. "Here I am father"  "I want you to double up your patrol guards around the palace and around the boarders of the kingdom. And to my other sons i appoint them the command of the soldiers of Glazefrost and Khysfyre, and make a watchful eye beyond our lands. If Velder decieve me, and their head stood higher against me i shall cut it out of their bodies. Lavenstar is stronger now than ever. No one can underestimate my reign as long as i draw breath. For the good of my people, i shall know no mercy to those who plan to harm them. I, Arden first of my name pledge this infront of you my beloved people."

  The halls emptied out, townsfolk went back to residential lands with packed up fear. As the royal council gathered up to speak of how to handle the malice that risen up in the west boarder. The princes was called upon, new commanders of their time to prepare whats ahead.
"Aspyn has foreseen all of this father! We shouldve listened." Azra commended.
" its too late for that, it has been done Azra. Now we have only to plan ahead against Velders forces if its king declares war." Arden pinned the map down onto the table. " if the west boarders move to attack the city, it will easily be breached. Glazefrost and Khysfyre, the great fortresses cannot protect us then. Only the spiky mountains could gain us more time to act as a fortress on its own for our advantage." 
"Or theirs" Ayden commented, drawing all eyes towards him. "Velder stood all these years through our forefathers, because of these mountains, tell me if I am wrong father?" Arden hesitated and somewhat amazed for his son's brilliant mind. " yes. It has stood still henceforward, Velder is still free beyond our control. This has never been before spoken of, because its a weakness" Arden admits that it was a failure that was overlooked. " Velduan Armies wont be on our boarders soon, they know they would be out numbered. I have foreseen it, what they plan instead of a seige is far unknown to my sight, nonetheless we need to prepare for anything, I am certain that they will plan a plot that is beyond my foresight." The blue prince remarked.  "If its not an attack then what shall we do? As the general commander of our forces, I shall do whatever my king commands me to do." Azra awaits the decision. " muster your forces, Glazefrost and Khysfyre to aid the capitol's Aluxian forces. War cannot reach the stronghold of my fathers. I will go upon them and negotiate."  "But its too dangerous father! Negotiation has been done, i know they wont hear us the second time!" Aspyn fears that his fathers decision will lead them just to fall in the hands of Brembo. "It is dangerous, indeed. But a sure victory. My coming to Velder isnt just a negotiation, it is a divertion." The princes eyes narrowed in intrigue, except for the blue one.. who seemed troubled and uninterested. " Majority of our forces will set out to the mountains, scouts to report a seige. If that fat King plans to overrun the rivers and set foot to our lands i will have their heads on a spike before they reach the gates."  "But what if they changed their mind? What if they agreed your proposal? And Ayden will be wed to Veldunia?" Questions went whirling around Azra's mind. "Then your brother shall be a good husband to her and make her happy for the good of this kingdom." Ayden nodded in loyalty "I shall do what ever my king father commands me." The king puts his hand to his fire son's shoulder, " I trust you, my son.  If the decision has been pushed through, You shall bring unison in the two kingdoms in Crown hill. If it did'nt we have to kill them all" his other hand to Azra's shoulder. " Do not fail me."
