I walked down the hallway making sure none of 'them' were here. How could those mythical creatures even exist? Aren't they just stories told to us by our parents to keep us in at night?
I hear footsteps behind me. I turn my head so quickly it could've snapped.
"Hey there are you," Hillary says catching her breath.
Why does she need to catch her breath? Was Cassie lying?
"I am just walking to my next class," I say confused. I ruffle my hair out of a nervous habit.
"Why were you sitting with her. I thought you were going to sit with us," she says referring 'her' to Cassie.
"I honestly have no clue, she was blabbing on about you being harmful, all of you guys," I say. the warning bell rings signaling that we need to be in our classrooms in 1 minute.
Hillary laughs nervously before saying, "Ella I, none of us would try to hurt you."
"Oh, I knew that. Cassie just really freaked me out by saying that you guys were werewolves." I say as we enter the classroom. She gaped at me before sitting down. I sit down at my desk, I take out my pencil and my note book to write the notes that are on the white board in the front of the class room.
I feel a presence next to me but I don't look up.
Someone clears there throat before speaking, "Hi. I am Braxton and you are?"
"Ella Watson," I say looking up from my note book.
Braxton has nice features. brown hair and green eyes.
"Well I am hosting a party and I was wondering if you would be able to come," Braxton says scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Tell me the time and place," I say continuing to write down the notes.
A piece of paper lands on my desk and it has an address and 9:45 pm on it.
