I ran to my mother crying and apologizing over and over again for killing Acia,

"You did what you had to do Aleila he was going to kill you it's okay, your mate is hurting talk to him, embrace the love he won't leave you, he loves you so so much go my child" she replied, I nodded and let her go before walking up to Devin, everyone froze he turned around and saw me coming the others broke away to leave us and give us some privacy, I stopped in front of him. I looked down and jumped when he wrapped his arms around me, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders,

"I'm so so sorry I have been ignoring you I was trying to protect you from this happening but it just put you in more danger" I cried, his arms tightened their grip,

"It's okay just don't do it again, I love you Aleila I truly do and it hurt thinking you never loved me back" he replied,

"I will love you forever and ever Devin I love you so much" I replied, as I looked into his eyes and all I saw was love we leaned in a kissed, slow and passionately, cheering was heard we broke apart and smiled at each other, he pecked my lips before we walked over to the group, they told us congratulations,

"See I knew Aleila would come save me she always does" said Jake, I laughed and jumped onto his back sending him to the ground,

"Well if you were a true vampire I wouldn't have to come save your arse every time something evil or good comes after you" I laughed, everyone started laughing,

"Hey! I'm a vampire in training" he tried to defend himself, that just made us laughed harder,

"A vampire in training you've been a vampire for 100 years, Ha I've never heard about a vampire in training out of my 100 years of life I've never heard about a vampire in training" I laughed at the mere thought of seeing Jake learning how to drink blood and how to use his power, I just shook my head at him and got up grabbing Devin's hand we began walking back to Hydren, it would take a while since we weren't running,

"So you've been alive for 100 years how do you look so beautiful?" I blushed when Devin called me beautiful, I giggled,

"Well being a hellhound has it's perks, the reason my mama is still alive is because she was in the underworld or Hell as most people call it, I was in charge of the hellhounds until was sent up here to train you guys so they put Acia my brother in charge but I don't know if the other Hellhounds will still follow me if they have heard about what happened" I replied.

“Wow I hope they are on our side I can’t lose you” he replied wrapping his arms around my waist and pecked my lips,
