City Lights *Devin Sola love story*

Names Aleila James, I'm a hellhound from the underworld sent to the land of the living to make sure the demons are doing their job. I walked into the school grounds where I saw the group of demons who didn't know their demons. I walked past them looking at them before making my way to my friends.

"We got to make them know their demons like today before I get my ass beat by Lucifer" I said, my friends aren't human, Layla the second oldest she’s has brown shoulder length hair and one piercing on her right side upper lip, she's also a neko. Damon our oldest has brown medium length hair he has multiple tattoos and he's a wolf. Jake the third oldest and my terror twin he has black hair with a splash of red colour he also has snakebites and he's a vampire. Then there's me who is only 2 days, 3 hours and 2 minutes younger then Jake.

"But how are we going to do that?" asked Layla, I looked at Jake and he looked at me we smirked at each other before looking back at our eldest friends,

"We're all over it" we smiled at each other before we linked arms and walked to our English classroom.

"But how will you do that?" asked Layla,

"Well when a mate is in danger the power inside a demon will make them lose control and BAM! a demon will become" I explained, and we sat in the back of the classroom and waited for the day to be over and soon as the day was over it was night so we were in the middle of the forest sitting in tree stumps looking at each other,

"So how exactly are we going to find a demon's mate?" asked Damon, I looked at him,

"No need to find one when we already have one" I said, back handing Layla, she let out a scream the guys grabbed me,

"I don't want to do this but it's the only way" I cried, tears fell from my eyes for hitting and causing pain to someone who is like a sister to me,

"Okay do it" she said, and I nodded and continued to conflict pain on my best friend, her blood curling screams were making me bawl my eyes out and cringe with every scream, loud growls were heard through the forest, I smacked her one more time and I was tackled to the ground by Chris tears fell down my cheeks.

"Chris let her go she only did it to get your demon out, she didn't want to hurt me" explained Layla, Chris looked at her bloodied body then looked at me, I screwed my eyes shut, and waited for the blow but I felt him get off me, I opened my eyes and saw the rest of the demons surround Layla and the guys. That's the thing the leader's mate is in danger the whole clan goes wild. They were all looking at me when I was yanked through the earth and face to face with the one and only Lucifer,

"Hello Aleila" he smiled, I crawled backwards away from him, I was scared, all hellhounds are scared of their masters especially when their this pissed off,

"Hello Master" I cried, looking down at his white marble floor blood stains were faint,

"What has been taking you so long to get the demons alive and kicking?" he asked, stepping closer towards me,

"I just did it when you dragged me down here" I stated, looking at him, when I felt a stinging pain in my pale right cheek, blood trickled down my cheek and fell onto the blood stain marble floor, and the beating began.

"Heed this warning Aleila if you don't have those demons destroying Angels in 12 months you shall pay with your useless Hellhound life now go" he growled and snapped his fingers and I was back on the forest floor, I shot up and let out a scream holding my ribs, soon I was being chased by other hellhounds I was trying to find the trail that led back to Damon's house. I jumped a fallen tree falling to the ground and crawled forward on all fours when I felt a hellhound digging their paw into my back a blood curling scream came from my mouth, I struggled to get away from its hold,

"Remember what he told you Aleila" my head spun and looked at the hellhound who was on me, was my brother Acia, tears found their way back to my eyes as my own brother dug his claws into my back,

"I won't Acia I promise mother will be freed as soon as I finished this task" I cried, he got off me and we embraced before he kissed my forehead and disappeared into the ground, and I ran back to Damon's house the door was locked so I climbed up onto the top floor, I checked the windows, they were locked so I just smashed a window and fell through it, and landed myself in Damon's room, he shot up in bed and saw me he jumped up and lifted me off the ground and placed me on his bed softly,

"Layla! come quick" he yelled, Layla came running in with the group of demons, she had her ears, tail and claws out and her eyes were emerald green, she ran over to us,

"I'll get the bath running and the Saber leaves" she cried and ran off,

"Where's Jake?" I asked, as I was gently placed into the warm bubble bath,

"His Mother was ill she wanted him home now shh relax he's fine" replied Damon, I shook my head,

"No we have to get him, Lucifer has Acia in charge of the hellhounds while I've been gone, they will attack him" I gushingly said, I jumped out of the bath putting on my shorts and top I quickly put on my shows, Damon ran down the stairs after me.

"Aleila please calm down Acia will do nothing to hurt Jake, he is like a brother to him" he called, grabbing my arm and spinning me around to face him,

"No intently you saw my back those claws were caused by Acia and I shall not let him hurt Jake" I yelled and ran outside and towards Jake's house, I ran into the house,

"Jake!" I called, I got no reply, I ran around the house and found no-one the place was empty no sign of life anywhere, I threw my head back and let out a demonic scream, I threw everything off Jake's bedroom dresser, the door of the house was thrown open, I pulled out my knife as soon as someone came through the door I threw my knife at the perpetrator, only missing their head by an inch,

"Shit Jesus Aleila it's just us" I sighed in relief as Layla's voice came through the silent room, I spun back around to face his room, before storming out and down the stairs where I was grabbed I grabbed their arm and twisted it and pulled it behind their back and held a Sai dagger to their throat,

"Let him go Aleila he's on our side" said Damon, my head shot towards him, he jumped back obviously getting ready to fight me if needed I guess my eyes are black,

"They should learn not to touch me" the voice of the hellhound inside me sounded,

"And he shall learn Aleila let him go" called Layla, I let the frighten boy go kicking him to the ground before I collapsed and backed out.
