The other day I and my friends were hanging out when we noticed a cat following us. According to my friend Shitij, this particular cat has been following us everyday but soon we forgot about the cat and dissolved the matter as Alex was alarmingly concerned about her broken nail. Later, each person left due to one reason or the other and almost purposely the only people retained were me and Gerard. We talked for quite a long time. While talking I noticed him staring into my eyes, I sort of became shy while speaking and I guess he noticed it in my behaviour. He whispered in my ear, in a very concerned and scared manner, "I'm not staring into your eyes, I just see a different reflection in your eyes of me". This confused me and he totally changed the topic to the colour of my eyes. What absurd kind of flirtation is this? I thought to myself. The next day i told Alex about this and she said that Shitij was trying to hook you two up. I asked Shitij personally why he did so and to that he replied "it appears to me as if you two have a special connection", I scoffed at this and later Gerard apologised for yesterday. I guess it wasn't that weird after all. Later that night i was suffering from sleep paralysis again. Sleep paralysis is a condition which makes the body immovable in sleep and sometimes causes hallucination. My sleep paralysis had almost been cured after my parents ' divorce, but it returned to me like an old enemy returns, with a whole new set of armour. It was different this time, I could feel the sensation of Gerard being around i could see Gerard caressing my arm and i could see his big eyes slowly turning red,his pupils almost popping out and him coming awfully close to me as if he was going to look into my eyes and excavate my soul all I could do is hope this all got over and it thankfully did. The next morning I woke up dazed and befuddled, in the dilemma whether it was an hallucination or an encounter. Is this the reflection Gerard can see of himself in my vision?
