I woke up as a strong hot breeze crept into the room with the rays of the sunlight. I noticed a cat walk out my window as I got up from the bed, it was most probably the same cat that had been following us. I couldn't think any further as my dad entered the room and greeted me 'Good morning sweetie!'. I greeted him back and headed to the bathroom. As i was brushing my teeth I could hear a man aggressively shouting at himself. Later in the evening I was talking to Shitij he suggested that it was the widower, and the cat has some kind of connection with me. Alex declared Shitij's opinion to be complete non sense, leaving me completely confused. After this argument had been hardly settled, Gerard arrived. We all talked about the cat, Gerard said that the cat belonged to the widower. It came as no surprise that the cat must have followed me and stayed there to feel my warmth, the man must have not been home. Later I left as i wanted to buy a few things at the grocery store, Gerard accompanied me. As we were walking down the road, I was a little nervous and confused whether I should talk to him about my last night's experience. He told me that he knows. He said "I know what hallucination you had last night, you don't need to worry, It might just be an interference". I was incredibly demented, but all I could say was 'how do you know about it? He said ' I haven't said this to anyone but Shitij, the reason I know about all of this is because I am a mind reader, and you seemed deeply disturbed". I had no choice but to believe him. We reached the grocery store and I walked passed security making no sound or expression. As I was picking up a few items, I asked Gerard about him referring to the hallucination as an interference. He said someone might want to invade my dreams and thoughts. I asked him who did it and how could they and he said that it was not possible to be done by a human, this immensely horrified me. He told me he dint know any further, if I had any such experiences I could talk to him, and something in his voice was really reassuring and soothing. It eased my trauma,I told him that I was completely clueless but I trusted him. He thanked me for believing and not acting differently with him. I said I understood and I appreciate his help. He left me at my doorstep and wished me goodnight.
