Japan's point of view. Next story I'm making the chapters will be longer.

I don't remember the next day being all too interesting.

The night before me and America fell asleep on the couch, which didn't seem to bother him all that much so I didn't bring it up in the morning even though he's hand was on my arm when I woke up.

The work was about the same. More or less anyway. America seemed determined to finish the planting outside, at first I thought he was doing it to avoid me, but when I walked out early he seemed like he was genuinely busy with it, and was happy to see me there.

Later mid day America's boss called him and demanded to talk, which America said something surely rude (which I heard halfway across the house.) And he hung up on he's boss, a thing quite show off like for a country to do. Of course he's boss kept trying to call him for two more hours, he practically hid outside the hole day, until it started to get dark and he finally submitted and answered the phone outside.

Later after about 30 something minutes, he came back in looking quite annoyed. He told me that it was completely pointless and unnecessary for he's boss to call him while he was on vacation. He ranted for a long time about how people now 'ah days' where more needy and should be more rugged like they used to, but he calmed down after I got him interested in something else.

Soon he toke a shower while I made us some food. This time it was just something I'd have to heat up that WOULDN'T be in the oven. He ate it happily while we watched a movie, America was the one who got to pick it today and he chose a older one called gone with the wind.

He had a lot of thoughts on that film, mainly how it talked about he's own civil war, and how he thought of that war back when the film was made. He's told me on past occasions that he spent the biggest part of the civil war either in Mexico's house, or what would later be Washington state.

That night America demanded that I didn't go to bed, and that I slept on the couch with him. I didn't put up a fuss and laid my head on he's shoulder.
