Talons. A dragon drawer's struggle. In this guide, I'll be giving the basics and hopefully making talons a lot less difficult!!
Step one:
Supplies! Here, you first sketch out your dragon (will be doing full body guides) and the legs.
Step two:
Like a human wrist, narrow it down by the talon then spread back out for our talons! Those bumps that seem to be floating with be very important so make sure to place them where you want your talons to go.
Step three:
Connect them and prepare for claws! I usually draw their talons or "fingers" as you would a human's
Step four:
Claws! This process can be easily used for each talon! (Back talons vary depending on dragon and I will cover them in their own lessons. )
This lesson was a bit short, but there isn't all that you need to do with talons surprisingly!
If you need any extra help please let me know and I'll try to cover more on talons! Remember to practice as well! You most likely won't have it perfect the first time, but these are basic steps that really help me!
Hope this helped!!
