August's Pov
You know how they say that usually, you can tell what kinda person is from there smile. Sometimes if they have a full smile they are a happy person, sometimes smiles with teeth indicated a very bright and energetic person. But there was one smile I had ever come across that I knew wasn't his real smile.

Oh, Sangwoo you were a man of many things but managing a real smile wasn't something you were use to at all. The first time I had encountered Sangwoo was when my girlfriend of one year had forced me to come hang out with her and her friends. Now take for one my girlfriend wasn't exactly out and open to her friends.

I mean if Jieun even knew Juyeon would lose her position in the popular rank. I didn't really understand why she never would just let me stay home and sleep instead of being here with people I didn't exactly like.

Around her friends, we pretended like we were friends. She would crack jokes saying I didn't understand all of them when they spoke Korean.

She would joke around and say all these hurtful things about me to them and I did the one thing I was good at. I pretended like I was this clueless black girl when I was really intelligent and smart.

I wouldn't be here in Seoul if I didn't understand Korean. Like always I was the butt end of her little jokes but these comments made me a little too upset. I looked at my dreads a little messing with them listening to Juyeon.

The large table is filled with drinks and stuff. I kept quiet messing with my hair trying to not touch the fresh bruise on my cheek. "Yeah I know August's hair is a little strange, she is a strange girl." I heard all the girls giggling like made and I puffed out a heavy sigh and heard a deep chuckle before these brown eyes stared right at me from the rim of the glass.

"Juyeon I think she looks fine, I think you need to learn how to talk to someone when they aren't around." I watched Juyeon scowl a large red blush over her face before Jieun was squeaking out a laugh touching his large arm.

"Sangwoo Oppa it's all in fun!" I mentally winced at her loud voice placing my hand on my forehead. I wasn't drunk enough for this at all. All these girls were the same. I was in an abusive and manipulative relationship with my own girlfriend and I didn't know how to get out of it. So I wasn't thinking when I spoke fluently drinking my drink.

"You talk about me like you haven't slept with the whole school." The loud laughter around the table dropped expect for Sangwoo who let the deepest surprise laugh out staring at me wide-eyed before he smirked staring at me fully.

"So she does understand after all, and all this time Juyeon you've been acting like she's stupid shame on you." Sangwoo laughed even more peering at me more still having a side smirk on his face followed by another laugh.

Juyeon released a small nervous laugh shooting me a small glare. Fuck me I was gonna get it later. I was just sick of her treating me like I was some kind of dog.

"Excuse me." I stood up sighing setting the cup down I excuse myself to the bathroom seeing a small line was at the woman's bathroom. I sighed standing in the line leaning my head on the brick wall to focus my thoughts but I tensed up just a habit when I felt a body press near me.

I spun around a little startled to see Sangwoo was standing near me his arm on the brick wall before he was staring down at me, his eyes studying me. "There's more to you and Juyeon isn't there? You two aren't just friends." I was taken back by his sudden husky English voice.

I didn't actually know he was fluent in English but then again he was a man who hid things easily. "What does it matter she's your friend." A low laugh left him before he was shaking his head at me.

"Correction she is Jieun's annoying friend matter of a fact I'm not friends with any of them it's called pretending." He spoke. Once again I lifted an eyebrow and propped my hip on the brick wall.

"So you pretend you like people? Well isn't that something new, from the very charming Oh Sangwoo I didn't know you were fluent in English." I told him hearing him click his tongue against his inner cheek.

"I took a few classes, you know how many foreigners visit but you didn't answer my question what are you and Juyeon?" Once again I avoided the question looking away from his eyes.

"We aren't anything," I answered evading his deep eye contact but then he was leaning in close into my personal space speaking.

"I saw her hit you the other day, in the library when you caught her kissing someone."
