Jaden's pov

She fell asleep. Bryce was sitting on her bed and I was on my phone.
"Dude" he said to me
I looked at him
"What the fuck is wrong with you" he said quietly, careful not to wake elle up
"I don't know. I'm sorry. I try to protect her but I get angry when she does stupid shit. I was tipsy but it's not an excuse" I said to him, my eyes tearing up.
"You almost killed her"
"I'm sorry" I whispered

I felt so bad. I really didn't wanna hurt her.

Bryce sighed "I like that you protect her Jaden, I really do. But you don't own her and you don't have a right to get all pissed when she does something stupid. That's my job" he said that last part with a smirk
"I'll let you off the hook. I know you love her"
Yessss
"Thank you"

Bryce went to get coffee for all of us around an hour later. When he was gone, Elle woke up

She looked around. She was looking for Bryce. She was scared of me
"He's getting coffee" I told her
She jerked at the sound of my voice, which made her head hurt. She held her head and moaned in pain

"I'm sorry" I whispered
She didn't look at me
"Oh Bryce got your phone. It's over their" I said, pointing to a little counter where her phone was
She looked at it but didn't get it
"Do you want me to get it for you?" I asked her
She nodded

I got out of my bed and picked up her phone and gave it to her

She unlocked it and her eyes went wide. Her phone was going crazy.

I saw her take a pic, and half my face was in it

She posted on her story:
Hey guys. I'm in the hospital rn but I'll keep you guys updated. I have a major concussion and stitches in the back of my head. Thanks @jadenhossler !!!!

Then she unfollowed me
