Me and josh got out starbucks and sat down at a table.
"So how you doing? You haven't come out of jadens room in weeks" josh said to me as he sipped his coffee.
"Ya...I don't know. I just feel like shit"
My eyes started watering.
"You didn't do anything wrong elle."
"But if I just would have let him-"
"Don't" he cut me off
I sipped my coffee and josh reached over  the table and put his hand on mine.
He smiled at me and I smiled back
"Thank you" I whispered
"For what?" He whispered back
"For everything"
He smirked

I looked up and noticed someone filming by the window.
"Are you fucking kidding me" I said
"What?"
"Look" I said pointing to the camera
"Now everyone is gonna think we're together" I whined
Josh got up and walked towards the camera
"Hey man. Hi guys. I just wanted to say that this was filmed totally out of context and I know that everyone is gonna think we're dating, but we aren't. And DONT go saying we are. She's my sister. And dude, get the fuck away from us"
He came back and sat down
"Problem solved" he said with a smirk
I laughed for the first time in forever.

We went back to sway after we were finished eating breakfast. When we went inside, we heard yelling.
"What the fuck?" I said
"Probably a YouTube video" josh told me "you wanna come chill?"
"Ya sure" I said
We walked through the house and saw the boys filming something near joshes room. We just laughed and went into his room and closed the door
"Their so loud what the fuck"
"I know right" josh said, sitting on one of his bean bags. He patted the one next to him and I went and sat down.
"You haven't been on socials in a while, huh?"
"Ya..."
"Look at me" josh said and I turned to him and smiled at his phone that he had pointing at me.
He typed something on it and my phone buzzed.
It was his story:
Hi everyone! Just wanted to shout out my lil sis. I'm so fucking proud of you babe. Your so strong. I love you so fucking much @ellehallbaee

"I love you josh" I told him
"You too babe" he said to me
"Omg you used to call me that all the time"
He grinned

I know what your thinking, omg they were totally dating. And no, we weren't. That was just his nickname for me.

I refreshed insta and saw a tik tok room post. It was of joshes story and the caption was: no josh calling elle Babe😭👀 and we hope that Elle is doing okay!!

"This is so ridiculous" I said and went to the tik tok room page.
It was FULL of stuff about me and chase. There were captions like: rumors that chase and Elle are broken up due to the lack of posting together and no posts from elle👀
And other ones like: we see that elle has refollowed Jaden!!! 👀

"Oh my god" I said
"I know"
I threw my phone across the room
"I'm so done with social media"I stated
"It can suck sometimes" josh said, putting his phone down too.
He looked over at me and I looked back
"Can we talk about it now" he asked me and I exhaled
"O-okay"
"Ok good. So I-"
"Actually never mind. I don't wanna talk about it" I said cutting him off
"Elle c'mom. We should. It's literally driving me crazy"
"Oh it's driving you crazy!!?? You kissed me right after I got fucking hit by my abusive ex!!!!" And I didn't even realize that I was crying.
Josh leaned in and pulled me into his lap and hugged me as I sobbed into him
