Kody POV
" *cough cough cough cough* ugh I hate this" *knock knock* "Umm Kody are you I'm there"
I tried to pretend that I wasn't in the bathroom .I stayed at silent as I could.
" Kody I know you're in there" The person behind the door Said.
I sighed and open the door to see Elijah standing in front of it. I glared at him
" what do you want" I grumbled.
" I wanted to see if you were o—-your mouth is bleeding are you OK"
" my mouth is not bleeding what are you talking about"
He pointed at the corner of my mouth. I touched it with my finger and looked at it to see I was bleeding. " nothing I'm OK you don't have to worry" I said obviously lying.
" you're lying I'm going to tell Lumine that you're bleeding." He said starting to walk away. I panicked and grabbed him "no Lumine can't know" I said well she can hand.
He looked a little confused. In that Great moment I had to cough. I tried holding it in but this time I couldn't. " cough cough cough" and the petals came out of my mouth.
"Oh my gosh Kody is this why you don't want to tell Lumine" he questioned me and I nodded my head yes. I hate keeping secrets from Lumine but I can't admit this. I deeply feel bad that I have to but it's embarrassing if I had to admit what's happening. I know I could die for not telling him but right now I don't care. Being rejected and Ruining our friendship will be the worst thing in the world.
" you know you have to tell him he could probably help you confess to your crush or if your crush already rejected you, help you get over it. Or better yet tell your dad." He said nervously, you could hear the panic in his voice
I gave me the death glare and walked away. I turn back before I completely left and said " you better not tell Lumine ok"
As I walk away I Heard Him say "ok"
I walked out the building and saw Lumine waiting for me in the entrance of the school. When he saw me he got a smile on his face and started to walk towards me.
"Hello Kody how was you day"
"Same as always" I said while walking past him
