Chapter 21-Goodbye

Aviana's POV

I was still running away from Rufus, I couldn't breathe, I have been running for too long, I need help. I shouted "RHYDIAN" several times, I saw a 2 shadows behind me, I didn't bother to move, if they were going kill me right on the spot, then I would least be with my real parents. I waited for the blade to be pushed in my back, I tensed up.

Waiting........

Rhydian's POV

I ran as fast as o could to find Aviana, I stopped I saw a 2 people with a girl, it was Aviana. I ran over quickly to her. I saw her father, and Seth, but they weren't fighting or anything. Aviana shouted "Rufus is not my real dad, my real dad is dead, Seth and Rufus killed him". I didn't know what to say, she has no parents at all now, her mum is dead and her dad is dead, I had to save her, I would never forgive myself if she died.

Aviana's POV

I saw the look on Rhydian's face, he was scared, I didn't real cared if I was going to live or die. Their is nothing left for me down here. Seth grabbed me and picked me up and ran off I saw Rhydian in the distance. I knew I wasn't going to see him again.

Rhydian's POV

I saw Avaina being taken away I ran towards her but Rufus punched me in the face and fell on the ground and I couldn't move I passed out.

*FIVE MINUTES LATER*

I woken up by Ceri, she asked me "Where's Aviana?, is she alright", I shouted "She's not alright, her real father dead, Rufus was her uncle. They both want to kill her". "We have save her" Maddy said, we all followed Aviana's scent. We found her, but Seth was holding her, her arms were behind her back twisted. Rufus said "We have waited 14 years for this moment, my brother (Ash) was always my Father's favourite, he never liked me and Seth, we now it's payback time, this girl will die and her pack will be ours".

"You are doing all of this to get back back at Ash" I asked. "Yes and you will witness your friend death". Seth turned Avaina around facing the river and pushed her off the cliff. She screamed and landed in the water. She reached the surface and was drowning. "She never learnt how to swim" Seth added and ran off, but Alric, Ceri and Maddy's parents caught them and grabbed their arms, so they wouldn't been able to move. I climbed down the cliff and saw Aviana holding on a branch for dear life and heading towards a waterfall. I grabbed her hand before she let go and she said "Goodbye Rhydian Morris" and she let go. I saw being dragged down the waterfall. I screamed "NO". I cried

*FIVE WEEKS LATER*

I still feel it was my fault that Avaina died. We told Mr Jeffies that she feel of a cliff while running and banged her head and drowned.

After the funnel we saw Avaina's uncles and I wanted to kill them for what they did but I couldn't, it would of dragged to much attention, I had to let them go. Being with my friends is what made me feel better.

I ran to Avaina's house and saw her room and looked in her draw and saw a letter which was written to me. It said:

Dear Rhydian

At some point I knew was going to die soon. I knew that after my transformation that it wasn't over. I wrote this letter when I was sick. I managed to open my locket and their was a picture of my dead mother and this man I didn't know. He had the same eyes as me and my other father had sharpe eyes and the man on locket had soft eyes. I knew straight away something was up. I didn't know what it was. I wanted to say thank you for being their for me and you have been my only and best friend and I want to say thank you.

I after I read the letter I was shocked and knew that Seth and Rufus had to pay for what they did one way or another.
