Sick

A week after the plan Lillian woke up with a pounding headache, she cursed. "well good morning to you too sunshine" Aiden said in a normal tone, but to Lillian it sounded like he shouted in her ear. She hissed "shut up!" she shot at him sharply "whoa what did I do to you?" he asked offended "quiet please" she asked and blindly went to her medicine cabinet and grabbed painkillers. Her throat felt like it was being tore out and her nose was slightly red when she looked in the mirror. She grabbed a glass from the cabinet ignoring the coffee "what the hell did I do?" Aiden asked she ignored him and took the pills, then decided to take two more than she should have "whoa I know enough about medicine to know that was too many" Aiden said still clueless to what was going on, "thank you for the coffee, good morning, I have a headache my throat hurts and my nose is red so I know I'm sick, yes I took two too many pills but it wouldn't be the first time" Lillian said in one slurred sentence her vision slightly blackened.

Magnus entered the room took one look at her and immediately knew. "Get back in bed right now, you are not going to class. I will make soup Aiden make sure she doesn't get out of bed" Magnus ordered leaving no room for argument "sir yes sir!" Aiden said jokingly as he followed Lillian to her room. Lillian sat staring at the ceiling "I'm bored" she signed in sign language Aiden stared at her "you're lucky I somehow understood you" Aiden muttered "Um what do you usually do when you're bored?" Aiden asked "sing, write, or play guitar" Magnus answered as he entered the room with a bowl of soup "you sing?" Aiden asked "very well, although that doesn't help at all at the moment" Magnus said Aiden chuckled "yeah not really helpful right now..." he said trailing into thought "well... we could just mess around" Aiden said "you could play guitar and we could try and create lyrics off what we hear" he suggested "that's not a bad idea!" Magnus said and left the room, when he came back their was a guitar in his hands he handed it to Lillian.

Lillian started strumming creating patterns and melodies

The guitar notes faded out "your voice is amazing!" Magnus exclaimed while Lillian started signing "that song was deep, I thought we were going to have fun with it" Magnus joked making Aiden laugh "sorry, the melodies sounded sad so I made a sad song" he said "well why don't we do a lyric challenge than? That way it doesn't become a depression session" he said they laughed but agreed. Lillian started strumming once again.  They went on for hours before Magnus got a call from Alec "where are you? I haven't seen you all day" Lillian chose this moment to groan because of her head "what was that Magnus?" Alec asked in a dangerous ton "don't worry Alexander, it wounds me that you would even be suspicious of me" Magnus said pouting making Alec both feel bad and be more suspicious "hey Magnus isn't that soup still on the stove?" Aiden asked quietly but all Alec heard was a male muttering words to his boyfriend "oh shit!" Magnus yelled and rushed to the kitchen "Magnus who was that?" Alec asked "it was Aiden, my baby is sick and I've been taking care of her." Magnus said Alec immediately felt like an idiot "is she ok?" he asked trying to play it off as if he hadn't been questioning his boyfriends loyalty.

"She will be fine but we will be talking about this later" Magnus said in an unimpressed tone, still hurt Alec would every suggest anything like that.

The soup was fine, Magnus grabbed a bowl and served some for himself and Lillian. He left a bowl for Alec for when he showed up. Magnus entered the room and handed the soup to Lillian. She drank a little then smiled, "don't go so hard on him, he has insecurities. You are his biggest insecurity, he loves you and he doesn't think he's enough for you." Lillian said in a rough scratchy voice "of course you would put yourself in pain to help our relationship" Magnus said with a smile. Lillian finished her soup and fell asleep feeling peaceful.
