Transgender is an umbrella term where you identify as anything other than your birth gender.Non-binaries,gender-fluids,bigenders,and trigenders are examples as technically trans identities.
You do not need a surgery to be trans,there are plenty who are fine with their bodies already.So if you are trans but feel like you need medication or surgery to be trans don't worry,you are still valid.
