Is Hell Red?

This is the full story version of my shot story "Parent Points"
It's not finished and will eventually have a huge rewrite once my sister gets around to helping me with it
But for now this is the story

I'm sure you know how babies are born.
It used to be you simply kept whatever child you made, but as people became more and more infertile thanks to war with the demons that stripped away the life from human bodies, not killing them no instead they cursed us so humans could never bring life to their kind again in any way any cell could die as it tried to grow.

because of this growth chambers, a device that took the egg and spliced out parts and combined it with other egg cells to make a cell with no sign of the curse in it other than the part they couldn't remove that made the person being born infertile combined them with sperm in a fake womb to grow a child that could survive the curse set on us

However when the demons cursed humanity they made it so humans should never have been able to be created in any way, but we all know humanity, we find a way to keep going no matter what
So when they first started to experiment at splicing the eggs with other ones to make a child that could grow without dying it resulted in horrifying creations that usually died within an hour they had horns sticking out of them at random spots, bits that looked like melted flesh, three arms, four legs it was terrifying but after much trial and error knowing this was the only way to save humanity they finally got it right

A hope for humanity

She was beautiful with flowing bright golden hair that never got darker as she aged she had pale white skin like a porcelain doll and shining blue eyes that never seemed to dim
She was happy and healthy and everything was perfect

They made another child a boy with dark brown skin and silky brown hair he looked like a prince with hazel eyes that sparkled when you looked at them he was smart and strong just like the girl he was named Mir short for miracle

They were the first boy and girl made after the curse they were the hope of all humanity they were the greatest miracle.
Humans had found a way to splice together the perfect genes and make perfect children how they acted was still up to how they were raised but most were perfect.

Those that came out differently were seen as mistakes as failures more so than before since now humans weren't born at random they were made in machines so anything that came out wrong wasn't anything more than a mistake to most people they were seen as much less than they truly were.

But sometimes something will happen and a part of the curse will still be there in the cell this part spreads through and contaminates the entire cell but since it's so weak from spreading it doesn't stop growth instead it turns the child into a demon since the curse is from the old demons DNA it takes over the new child's DNA and turns them into a sort of half demon half human mix. 

They are born with a tendency to be angry or mean and just like the demons before them they could do terrifying things.
They could shoot fire, lift cars, even fly with their wings all at the age of 4 or 5
At first, these children were killed in fear of them ending humanity once and for all
But humans can be good sometimes; People refused to let them kill the children, after all, they were part human they just needed to be raised correctly raised like humans then they would turn out okay like everyone else
Eventually, they let the children live they were not demons but they were still given the same name.

Nobody had children of their own anymore I was impossible instead, at 21 you could choose to donate to the life homes in the same way you would donate to a sperm bank.
