“So number speaking, how hot is he?” Edia asked wiggling her eyebrows. We went to the gym after our class.

"Girl I have a boyfriend." I snap. Her eyes sparkled on that "you use that if he is hot, Oh Gosh" she always gets excited way too much easily.

“What are we talking about?” Seth joined the conservation; shirtless and covered with sweat. I glared at his lack of manner but knowing Seth, he doesn’t care.

“Maris’s new hot boss. He crashed her car and repaired it himself” Edia told me still excited. Only if people know how she is, if you ask anyone around here they will tell you she is some coldhearted bitch. But she actually is the quit opposite.

“So zil is getting dumped. I saw that coming anyway” he gave me a cold look.

"No, he is not. Damien might be hot but he is not anywhere near my type. For the starter he is white" I say and Edia's face fades. On the other hand, Seth gave me a "so what" look. I looked at Edia and she smiles "I will tell him".

“Marsi doesn’t date white guys. Black is one of her main type” she sighs.

"What? You come from a mixed family" he protests.

“No No, I came from a mixed-ish family. They were all white" I state "and when it comes to men, black attracts me more. No offense but black men have rizz and can handle emotions. It's just we never get things easily and what else teaches you better than the ugly side of the world".

“Facts!!” Edia adds.

I loved my white father not to mention better than my mother. But my siblings were all white and so was all my family tradition. And having a black family was my biggest dream as a kid.

“But zil is white, does he know?” Seth said confused.

"She doesn't have to tell him, do you know how far she pushed him? If he doesn't get it by now, seriously he is not as smart as the average people" Edia defended me.

"Do you feel that way too? I don't think you should judge someone by the outer looks, aren't you the only who always tells me that what should attract me about a woman should be her soul not her looks?"

“Seth baby, we say that because you think by your penis”.  He smirks but I can feel his attention was still on Edia.

“We don’t hate white people. It just not our type” Edia added. Poor Seth was very confused.

"You guys have a high standard in men. That's why you always get disappointed. We will never reach your expectation. We men have an easy one so we are easily satisfied" I turn around to see Edia looking at me. We both giggle knowing each other's thoughts.

“What is funny?” he asks frustrated.

“Seth, we all know your expectation” I gave Edia a look telling her to stop talking but does she listen? “That she is a female” she finishes despite.

"That is not true. I have expectations from my future wife. I actually think about such stuff" Seth explained.

"Like what?" I said excitedly to know what Seth's big thought is.

"I want my future wife to be hot" I roll my eye on that. "But seriously, I always wished for a strong God's girl. You know virgin, put Jesus first, wear properly. The proverb 31 girl who has a lot to teach me and to amaze me in ways a random girl in shorts co.." he stops and noticed we both are wearing a short. He wanted to take back his back his word but remember something and continues "couldn't. I am not saying anything, but just telling my type”

“Why on earth do you think you deserve a girl like that?” I ask furies this time.

“no, no girl, not the best question. Why on earth do you mean by ‘in ways a random girl with a short’? Do you think we are empty and stuff?” Edia snap. She is so angry, her face turned red-ish that we see it on her black skin.
