After I got home from school that day, I began to plan other things about the party. I had also planned to ask Allison to attend.
When she entered the house, I was sitting in the living room, writing some things down.
"Hey, Allison. Would you like to attend my murder mystery party ?"
"Oh, so you finally remembered to invite me ?!"
She began to yell.
"W-What's wrong ?""Nothing ! Everyone at school was talking about how Adelle Douglass was hosting a murder mystery party in her big, awesome mansion. But you know who didn't know ?! Me ! Your sister ! The one who lives in the same home !"
She seemed hurt by the fact that I didn't tell her, and I began to feel guilty. She sighed heavily, trying to calm herself down.
"How long have you been planning this dumb party ?"
"Um, about three weeks ago."
I answered calmly."See ?! Let me guess, you invited dear Adam ! Let me guess again, you told him to stay outside, because you didn't want him to find out anything about the party, so he won't have that privilege !"
It was only then when I realized how loud she really was. I felt her voice ring in my ears painfully, in my head. I couldn't concentrate.
I frowned, and looked down. She had to realize that she was scaring me. I had Acousticophobia, meaning that I had a fear from loud noises. Which is exactly why I was over-sensitive. Loud noises annoy me.
"Oh, you don't like that ?!"
She yelled more loudly. I felt tears fill my eyes as I looked up at her.I tried to walk away, but just then, I heard someone unlocking the front door and entering. We both glanced towards the direction to see Adam approaching us, a confused look on his handsome, good-looking face.
"What's wrong ?"
He asked as he got closer to us.
"Why didn't you invite me to your stupid party, huh ?! You two are so fucking stupid !"I could tell she got on his nerve. He stared up at me, to see that I was on the verge of tears. He immediately knew why. Which was kind of our thing. Allison was upset that we didn't include her in anything we do, but really it's because she thought everything we did was dumb.
"Stop yelling. You're upsetting her."
He spoke calmly, wrapping his arm around my torso.
"Oh, of course you don't want me to upset your dear twin ! I'm your sister too !"
"I know that Allison ! You always seem to find that one mistake that will hurt the three of us. We didn't invite you because you always think everything we do is stupid !"
"Don't you dare make this my fault !"
"Just.. Stop yelling."
He began to say, but I didn't stay to listen. Allison knew our fears, and we knew hers. She would always yell at something, because she knew I hated it. I didn't know why she seemed to hate me so much, but for all I know, I didn't hate her.
As soon as I entered my room, I locked the door, and began to think of the decor of the party.
Little did I know that the party would turn out worse than I had imagined.
