Flashback

I just watched Mary get into her car and drive away. Something didn't feel right. But I shook it off because she said he wouldn't hurt her so I'm
Going to take her word for it.

I drive home and go in and mom is cooking supper.

"Hey mom I'm home!"

"Hey sweetie how was school?" I gave a kiss on her head and I said "um
Well one of the teachers got fired."

"Oh bummer"

"Hey can I help you with supper?" I said

"Sure I don't mind just start cutting some Lettus." I smiled at her and got a knife and started cutting some stuff.

About a hour later I was cleaning up the mess before me mom and dad ate.

Then the phone rang. It didn't feel normal at all.

I go and get It worried and then I said

"Hello?"

"Yes Mr. Horan?"

"Yeah?"

"There has been a accident and it was you r best friend. Mary." I couldn't believe it. I dropped the phone and got my keys and went for my jacket and my mom said

"Niall where are you going?"

"I will be back momma love you" I tired to smile.

"Oh okay be safe" I kissed her head and ran out to my car and drove to the hospital.

I get to the hospital and I said

"I'm Niall Horan where is Mary!"

"She is in 224"

"Thankyou"
I ran to the door and I stood in front of it frozen. I don't know how she will look I don know how bad it was. I walked in and I saw here mom and she was holding her hand and talking to here. I could tell she was crying. She looked back and saw me and wiped away her tears and said

"hey-" I just ran and gave her a hug. She just cried into my chest. She looked up and she said "niall Mary is in a coma"

I broke.

"No" I whispered. I couldn't believe it. I just rolled down the wall and but my head in my knees and just cried.

"I will leave you guys alone" marys mom said and then left the room.

I got up and sat by the bed and I looked at her and just cried. I held onto her hand like it will fade away if I let it go.

"Um hey mary um I don't know what to say............I miss you......uh I just wish I could've been there and not let you go. I'm such a bad friend I knew something was wrong. I just I don't
Know I'm sorry." I looked at her cheek and it was bruised in like a hand mark. No he didn't! He didn't put a hand on her!!!

"He hit you didn't he?"

"I'll be right back mary.......right back."

I kissed her hand then I ran I my car. Someone has to teach that bastard a lesson.
