Do You Trust Me?

Two days have passed by now. I've gotten to know Tanner a little bit more. I've learned that he has been stalking me for over a month, because he has a um... obsession with me or something?..  I don't really know how to explain it. I mean, I barely understand it myself. I will admit, Tanner is very handsome but he's also very insane. I couldn't possibly like someone like that?... Or could I?

I laid there, my hands still handcuffed to the bed. I patiently waited for Tanner to come back. He told me he some uh, "business" to take care of. I decided not to question him about it, if it's one thing I've thought about, it's that I have to make Tanner trust me. Just enough so I don't have to be tied or handcuffed to anything when he's not present.

I heard the doorknob turn, then open. I saw Tanner's bright smile he always had on his face. Honestly, I've gotten used to it, I actually think it's quite charming. "Oh, N/N, I'm so glad you're awake!" Tanner said, sitting down beside me. His brown orbs staring into my E/C ones. "T-Tanner?.. Can I ask you something?.." I asked nervously, "Of course, N/N. I love it when you speak.~" 

I gulped, "O-okay. So u-um.. do you trust me?." Tanner's smile formed into a slight frown. "Well you see Y/N. I do trust you, but if you're asking this because you want me to take off the handcuffs. Then, I'll just say this as simply as I can. No." I could feel tears forming. I had to make him trust me. Some way, some how.

I knew she didn't like my answer but the only reason I said no was because.. I know she'd try to run away. They all do it. I've seen it happen time and time again. I'm not going to lose her, I'll do everything in my power, to make sure of it. "Y/N? Do you wanna know why I said no?" She nodded, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I just don't want you to run away. If I were to let you just wander around. You might just run away, and if you run away I might just have to punish you.~" I smirked, wiping her tears away.

I got up off of the bed, giving her a smile. I patted her head gently, "I have some things to take care of. I'll be back soon, N/N.~"
