Lily is a complete daddy's girl. She confides in her dad with everything. Ginny often says that Harry spoils her rotten. Harry will say that for Lily, Ginny can be the strict parent. But, even though Ginny is the stricter parent to Lily, they still have a strong bond.
On the other hand, Al goes to Ginny for everything. Harry is the stricter parent to Al. Sometimes their relationship isn't the strongest, but they both try.
James, however, has to have both Harry and Ginny as the strict parent, for he is always being spoiled by his Uncle Ron and Uncle George. James spends most of his free time at the joke shop with Fred, therefore getting a lot of free merchandise. James causes enough trouble for both Harry and Ginny.
