No one EVER calles Al Albus. (For good reason!). Only if he's in trouble by his mum or dad, everyone just called him Al.
When Al was born, Ginny's heart was set on calling one of her children Al, after her old pet rabbit. Her whole family had been trying to talk some sense into her about not naming her kid Al, and they succeeded when it came to James. But not even Harry could stop her from calling the baby Al. Finally, they compromised on Albus.
