Chapter 9

“What have you find out Mr. Castro?” I crossed my arms looking at him.“Hey! I'm asking!”

“An old article, so far 'yun pa lang eh,” he answered with a blank expression.

I sat down, “what about that?”

“I found an old newspaper where there's an article about the first crime committed here in school,” he explained and handed it to me.

“Where did you get this?” I bluntly asked.

“From the library, I'm just lucky that I found it there,” he crossed his arms.

I side smiled, “now what? Is this your last re-sort? Wala na ba tayong ibang pwedeng gawin?”

“Let's wait for Deven, maybe he's up to something,” he leaned on the seat.

I shook my head in disappointment. I thought, this Redence guy is intelligent enough to think of a great idea. 'Yun pala, umaasa lang siya sa Devil na 'yun.

“Why so early Ms. Chua?” someone asked.

I looked back and I saw Deven with their two friends. May pa grand entrance pa talaga sila. Feeling mga heartthrob ang mga walang hiya! Tssskk...ang sarap batukan eh.

I smirked, “what's wrong in being early? Sorry huh... I'm not like you, a person who preferred to be late, just to get some attention and guess what-- fan pa ng grand entrance.”

I saw how his confident smile vanished.  If he's sarcastic, kaya ko ring makipag-sabayan sa kanya. Mas magaling pa.

He was quiet for about a minute. He just sat down and opened the newspaper on the table.

“Red? Deven? I'm just curious...bakit ba nandito sa hang out place natin ang babaeng 'to?” tanong ni Yuan na mayabang.  Para 'tong hilaw na koreano. May pa bangs effect ang brownish niyang buhok. He even had a piercing in his ear. I wonder, bakit pinapayagan ng administration ng school 'to?

“It's none of your business!” I raised an eyebrow.

I saw him smirked and even stretched his neck.

“If not only that you're a sister of Andrie, may kinalagyan ka na talaga sa'kin!” his voice became deep that it indicated anger.

I looked at him and smiled perfectly. “You're afraid because of my brother?” I gave a silly laughed. “But I'm way fearful  than him.”

That's my way of pissing someone.

“Hey... that's enough,” awat ni Red. “May kailangan lang kaming gawin guys, that's why we need Althea here.”

“What?! No way!” Yuan exclaimed.

“Red is right, so you must get used in her prescence Yuan,” Deven added. “Sadyang wala lang kaming choice bro!”

Tumayo ako at isinuot ang backpack ko sa right side ko. I even crossed my arms looking at Deven.

“From now on... I'll be working only with Red, baka nakakalimutan mo, ikaw lang ang nakisali sa'min,” I took the newspaper away from him. “We don't need you in the first place!”

Naglakad ako palabas without even looking back. Napakayabang naman talaga ng mga 'yun! Sila ang pinakamayabang na taong nakilala so far.

“So... it's official,” somebody blocked my way and slowly pushed me backward.

Isa pa 'to! Araw-araw ba nilang guguluhin ang buhay ko? Nakakainis na!

I walked near him, “it's too early for you to make a scene again, hindi ba maganda ang gising mo?”
