I woke, sitting on my bed choking on salty water that had slipped through my lungs and jammed my air way. Sitting up so fast had made me dizzy and I felt pain wash over my entire body. I strained my muscles to get out of bed but let out a muffled cry realizing that my side table was now on top of my right leg and my water glass shattered. Shards digging into my chest. I tried to scream, to call out, any noise that would escape from my mouth but nothing came. Only more water. I looked at the ground  but I could no longer see it. Water flooded around me reaching, growing higher and I was still stuck under my table. Piercing cold water found its way onto my stomach as I tried to free myself. now soaking my pants and shirt I grasped for air. Scared. I tried again to scream and shout. I thrashed my arms and legs trying to ignore the pain of the glass piercing deeper into my chest. Finally the water was high enough that it lifted the night stand off me but I could no longer feel any pain anyways.
