Flowers and Books ii

"Please—let me take care of you. I am in your debt" Hiroyuki said bowing down to him.

Akihiko furrowed his eyebrows looking at the fully grown handsome man, bowing down to him on the floor like a child. He really didn't know why Hiroyuki was overreacting.
  "Just give me an umbrella so I can go back" he said simply. He didnt think it was a big deal.

Hiroyuki picked up his head and looked at him with a sad face saying,
  "B-but but I—I want to repay you".

"You dont need to geez...." Akihiko said sighing.
  "I am soaking in rain right now, can you just please—" he said.

"Please use my bathroom. I'll prepare you clothes and cook dinner for you" Hiroyuki said bowing down to him again, begging him.

Akihiko looked at him with disbelief.
  "What the hell—my house is just a fEw stEps AwAy" he said and thought he was crazy.

It was really unnecessary for Hiroyuki to do those things.
  "I'm going back" Akihiko said instantly and got up.

"No no no please—dont go" Hiroyuki said and grabbed his arm. He stopped him before he could get up.

Akihiko looked at him feeling annoyed. He was about to get mad but Hiroyuki cut in and said,
  "Please, let me repay you....or not I will forever feel like I am in debt with you and I will always bug you with it".

"If you let me take care of you now then you wouldn't have to worry about me trying to repay you again" he said with his pleading doggy eyes.

Akihiko clicked his tongue and glared at him with annoyance as he pulled his hand away from him.
   He didn't want to shower at his place, wear his clothes and eat his cookings but to think that Hiroyuki would think of more ways to repay him.....he didn't want that. He could tell that Hiroyuki would bug him everyday about it and do nice things to him just to repay him. He didn't want that.

At least if he agreed to this then he wouldn't bug him anymore about it.
  "Fine" Akihiko said giving up.

Hiroyuki's eyes lit up with happiness instantly.
  "Thank you Akihiko" he said excitedly.
He was so happy that he could take care of Akihiko. It was the least he could do.

Suddenly they heard Mochi barking at the door. They both looked at him feeling surprised.
   "Mochi! Come here boy" Hiroyuki shouted happily seeing his good boy.

Mochi ran to him and made Akihiko get up from the floor. Akihiko backed up a little from them and let them have their space.

Hiroyuki pat Mochi's head and said smiling,
  "You told Aki about me did you? Such a good boy".

Mochi barked and licked Hiroyuki's face.
   Hiroyuki chuckled as Mochi attacked him with love.
Akihiko looked at the two looking indifferent. He felt like he was third-wheeling their relationship. It felt awkward.
  Isnt it dirty.....
Akihiko thought as he was watching Mochi licking Hiroyuki's face.

Hiroyuki looked at Akihiko and stopped Mochi from licking his face. Akihiko was standing there soaked in rain and suddenly he noticed Akihiko didn't have any shoes or slippers on.
  "Did you—came here bare footed?" Hiroyuki asked looking at his feet. It seemed a bit dirty.

Akihiko looked at his feet and just realised it was a bit dirty.
  "Well yea.....I didnt have the time to grab my slippers. Mochi was barking on my front door and you didn't bring the flowers in like you usually do when it rains " he said.

"Something must've happened so I just came without thinking more" he said.

Hiroyuki stared at him blinking his eyes.
