Rize stood there as he rang the bell of Chiko's house, it was, at the very least, modest, looking like a normal house in the neighborhood.
"comingg!!" yelled Chiko who was from the other side of the door

The door opens and Rizu stood there,
"That was quick..." was what Rizu said as Chiko was notoriously known to be very slow
"It's because i was waiting for you, silly!!" Chiko yelp with excitement, toe-hopping
"Alright alright, i'll come in, sheesh," said Rizu as he shaked his head, remembering how Chiko used to be super-excited about the little things,
"Here, pancakes and a Monster," Chiko gave Rizu two of his favourite things, her homemade pancakes, and a Monster energy drink
cracks open can, "Ah, shit, i needed this, i haven't s-"
"Slept, i know,"Chiko cutted Rizu, mid sentence,
"H... how did you, know?"Rizu asked Chiko
"It's obvious silly!! your eye pockets are very dark!!" she replied
"But, doesn't that accumulate over time? Machi?"He said as he was confused on how Machiko could know
"Oh, really?? I didn't know that, i used to think that it just appears when you don't sleep once,"
"Ayayay silly Machii, that's not how it works, you idiot..."said Rizu as he gave Chiko a headpat
"How am I an idiot when someone never told me how it works?! I just assumed it Rizee!! You're the idiott!!!" screamed Chiko as she flailed her arms around
"Alright alright! Fine! I'm the idiot, happy?"he immediately responded with giving Chiko another headpat
Then, she calmed down, for some, weird reason, even the author doesn't know.

"There u go, finally you're calm.."Rize said, breaking the tense mood in the air
"Now, where were we? Oh yeah, me eating these pancakes"he responded, grabbing the plate of pancakes on the living room
"Alright.. i'll leave u alone to those pancakes,"
a few minutes passed
Rize has settled to the room next to chiko's more precisely, the living room, and i mean settled, as in grabbed a bunch of pillows and made a pillow fort, well, I wouldn't judge him, the floor is ceramic, how can someone sleep on ceramic?
"You done, Rize??" screamed Chiko from her room.
"Just a sec, need to make sure this is stable enough for me,"he responded
"What, stable? What do you mean?"she said as she entered the living room
"Tadaa!! A pillow fort, just like when we were kids!!"He exclaimed, perfectly recreating his favourite memory from his childhood,
"Woahh..." beamed Chiko's face with excitement as she remember the days where they would stay in that fort, playing games and watching youtube, oh and anime.
"Hey, Chiko?"Rize asked, as Chiko was frozen in spot, trying to wrap around what he just did,
"Chikoo??"he asked again, trying to make sure she didn't turn to stone
"*cough* Admiral Chiko-chan, this is Captain Rize asking?"he asked
"Huh?"Chiko finally responded
"Aha! So you DO remember when we pretended we were captains and admirals, those were a long time ago,"he said, teasing the hell out of Chiko's patience
Chiko remained calm, considering she was flustered as hell when Rize said that, but Chiko decided to go with it,
"I'll make pancakes, let's binge watch Netflix, since, I got nothing else left to do,"
"I claim front row seat, I don't care, i sit in the front,"Rize said,
"Ah sure, fine, I could still watch the screen,"she responded
Somehow, Rize's magic pillow fort managed to fit an entire flat screen TV and a really big sofa in it. To in which, Chiko laughed a bit, realising Rize's ability to do things out of the ordinary. They sat in the pillow fort chugging as much soft drinks as they can, both knowing they won't sleep. Surprisingly, they eventually did,
"Yo Chiko, I'm sleepy, maybe we should stop the binge watch,"Rize said softly, as he was lying on the pillow fort, half asleep
"Well, don't you usually have trouble sleeping? You barely slept this week, so yeah, go ahead, take a nap, I'm also tired,"she replied, both signalling Rize to sleep
"But, you're still awake, and I usually sleep last," Rize said, teasing Chiko again with old nostalgia
"Fine, I'll take the couch, alright? therefore i sleep first, you know I sleep fast in this couch"
"Yay, i get to beat you again..."Rize responded with the smallest scream one can muster, well, not scream, more like a very loud whisper
