Monday

It was Monday morning, and Namjoon woke up by the nonstop ringing of his phone. It was from his boss.

He picked up the call, ended up listening to his boss ranting about his absence when he told him that he's taking a day off.

"I will work overtime on Sunday. I promise." Said Namjoon, didn't have the energy to fight or even think. His boss gave him a warning before the middle aged man hung up on him.

"Yeah. Whatever." He muttered, sluggishly getting up of the bed. A few bottles of beer were all over the nightstand and even on the floor. His head was pounding as he sat up.

He couldn't recall what happened last night, but he surely remembered well that he had been drinking all night.

Another reason why he drank up every bottles of beer in the fridge was when his crush posted a picture of her official relationship status with another guy who was not him. And also another picture of her kissing the guy.

Therefore he decided to stay away from the social media and any other further possible notifications. Basically he just stay away from his phone the whole day.

He freshened up, then went to the kitchen to make a breakfast. His breakfast was pretty simple that morning. Toast and crackers.

A fly flew by his face, and turns out it was from the trash can. He slapped his forehead as he forgot to take the trash out yesterday.

He put on his Koya velcro slippers and sauntered outside, where he greeted by that annoying neighbor of his.

"Oh? Good morning, Namjoon. Wait, I just realised... you didn't go to work today? What happened? Are you sick or something? You look like you've been drinking all day." And there goes his meddling with Namjoon's life.

"Good morning to you too, Seokjin." Namjoon sighed. "I just don't feeling well today."

"I see... welp, you look like you need some flowers." His neighbor, Seokjin, went to his car and came back with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"Nope. I appreciate it, but no thanks. I don't need flowers right now." Namjoon rejected in a serious tone, hastened his feet towards the door.

"But they're freshly pick—"

"No!"

He slammed the door shut. Seokjin let out a sigh, unable to understand what was up with Namjoon being so moody that day. "Tch... why can't that guy cheer up a little bit? He always reminds me of my girlfriend when she's on her period."

Seokjin went to the front door and left the flowers there before he went to work.

Since Seokjin worked as a florist, the backyard of his house was pretty much a whole garden of flowers. The contrast between Namjoon's house and Seokjin's was completely different and opposite.

Back in the house, Namjoon noticed a pair of his red Converse sneakers were covered with dirt and mud. Considering that he still loved that red sneakers of his, he decided to wash them clean.

He usually cleaned all of his shoes using wet wipes, but to do a physical wash could help to distract him from falling into the thought of his crush again.
