HINATA POV
"You sure you're good to go home by yourself?" I said, chucking Kageyama his jacket which I had washed last night to rid the stench of alcohol.

"Of course I am" he responded, sighing, clearly still tired and probably still hungover, "I'll be- fine..."

I never thought someone like Kageyama would be the time to not be able to hold his liquor, which is less than I can say for myself.

And he certainly doesn't seem like the type to wander into a place like that, even if he had been drunk...

I remember how scary it was; leaning back to see him of all people.

I remember how my heart raced and how my stomach stopped, and how I knew as soon as I saw him just how screwed I was.

Actually, I had more than second thoughts on taking him home that night. Him passing out lifted some anxieties I may have had.

But it's not like I could've just left him there; creeps like pretty boys like him.

I'm just relieved he didn't recognise me, even in the morning.

"Thanks, again..." he said before leaving, "Really... thanks"

"You don't have to thank me..." I said, truthfully.

To be honestly, seeing him again was a blessing in disguise. I always found myself wondering about Kageyama, even at times I didn't mean to.

I wondered how he was.
What he was doing.
Who he was with.

Though, given my circumstances, it's not like I could.

I turned around to go home, trying not to worry about him given the events previous.

"H-Hinata!" he called unexpectedly, taking me by surprise and making me turn around.

I stood as crowds of people walked by, ignoring each one of them and waiting for him to say something.

But he stood motionless, looking at me and trying to gag up words to say.

I've known him for long enough.
I knew exactly what he wanted to ask me...

KAGEYAMA POV
"Sure!" he beamed, waving and hinting for me to leave before I missed the train.

I nodded gratefully, putting my jacket on and getting into a carriage.

As much as I hate to admit it, I didn't realised how nostalgic it was seeing him until he was right there in front of me.

That goes for majority of the friends I made in high school, who, unknowingly I cut off.

I wanted to ask if we could meet again, sometime where he didn't just find me randomly.

But I guess he figured that out on his own.

I can get jealous of Hinatas sociality sometimes.

That's one of the reasons why I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I haven't seen him for all these years.

I thought of all people, he'd be the one to reach out...

My mind wandered as I watched the stations go by, and drifting away from the subject of Hinatas absence I was reminded of the person from last night.

Now that I've finally fully sobered up, Ive come to the conclusion that they in fact weren't just a figure of my imagination, like I'd originally suspected they were.

I've thought about people before sure; people I found cute, people who you'd be blind to think of as unattractive.

But Ive never, never dwelled on someone for this long.

Maybe I was going crazy.
Overthinking perhaps?

Or maybe I last night was just my imagination.

It's not like me to want to prove something to myself, more than that, it's not like me to doubt myself at all.

'But... I want to see it again'

I do.
I really do.

I want to see the way they move, the way the most subtle breath can make my skin crawl.

What I don't want is to go back there knowing that's where Hinata works.

I've already degraded myself enough; being babied by him is by far the most humiliating thing that's happened recently.

In a way it can't be helped, and in a way a part of me knows that I'll hate myself if I don't go through with it.

The person across the stage.
The person who caught my eye.

The person who it'd do anything to see again...

...

Going out after drinking last night was far from my best ideas, especially since it's Saturday.

I swerved the streets, avoiding the drunk groups and specific individuals.

I tried hard not to shut my eyes, knowing that if I did it'd probably pass out right there.

I guess I underestimated how just tired I was.

I stood in front of a building, much too similar to the one I stumbled into yesterday.

'I guess... this is it?'

This is it.
This is the place.

I showed the bouncer my ID, and they let me in almost immediately.

I guess yesterday I just got lucky to show up, or maybe they just stop caring as the night goes on.

I want to see him again.
I want to see him again...

I'm about to make sure I see him again.

At the time I was stupid.
I didn't see what was right in front of me.

And I wonder now... would I have just been better if I hadn't been overrun by curiosity.

Maybe if I'd just not followed the boy in the club... I wouldn't be in so much pain right now.
