❝i'm so nervous felix, like crazy.❞ felix said as his body won't stop trembling.

❝why?❞ felix asked, as he also tried to calm him.

❝i just submitted my assignment, which is to write ten chapter of your life in youth. it's not an autobiography, but we made our life in youth into a book filled with mh fictional characters. no format, it's free. the one that made the best book, whether it's short or long, will be published to the whole school.❞ seungmin explained, ❝i mean, should i prepare to lose or win?❞

❝prepare to calm down and relax.❞ felix said, ❝go on a date with me!❞

❝what?❞

❝let's go on a date!❞

then off they go to the ice cream shop. it's sunny and crowded, thankfully they found a place to eat their ice creams peacefully before it melts to the ground.

❝why are you smiling?❞ felix asked his boyfriend.

❝mint choco tastes better than what i thought.❞

❝haha, really? let me try.❞ felix said and get a spoonful of seungmin's mint choco.

the mint choco melts inside his mouth and leave a strong impression.

❝how was it?❞ seungmin asked, hoping to get a good answer.

❝umm... wow. it's not as what i thought, not as you said, and not as what the haters said. i'm neutral about the taste.❞ felix answered.

❝at least you're not a mint choco. you didn't gave me satisfying answer. you're lucky you're my boyfriend. i already know how you feel.❞ seungmin said.

they go around the food court, just walking side by side. no destination, just them with no phones and a broken compass. they should've had at least either. they're now lost in the crowd, and decided to just go near a place where they can watch the sunset.

seungmin watched his boyfriend. the sun gave it's last shine to felix freckles and smile.

❝you know what?❞ seungmin said, ❝i don't care about winning or losing. school and uni won't define me, just as long as i do my best.❞

❝and you know what?❞ felix said, ❝you're right. because i would rather know you as my author boyfriend than a crazy grades student.❞

❝i want to know and define myself like that too. thank you lixie.❞ seungmin replied.

❝yeah. i'm having no problems right now, and i want to take care of you. even if i don't know th future.❞ felix said

❝gosh felix, fuck you. beomseok was the best part of minjun. so are you in my life. i love yo so much.❞ seungmkn said.

he then leads forward to felix and kissed him. suddenly the sun shines again, and gave the spotlight to them kissing full with love. the best part is the always the highlight in movies, which are mostly full of affection.

a week passed, amd the winner will be announced on three pm. seungmin can't stop trembling again. felkx haven't come, even though he promised to be there. but seungmin understands, some people also has their own life to live.

his teacher is speaking, but he's too disturbed on his own thoughts until his name's mentioned.

❝....kim seungmin! please go to the stage, you won!❞ his professor said.

"me?" seungmkn mouthed, in which his prodessor responded with a nod.

he came to the stage. seungmin tried to find his boyfriend in the crowd of teachers and other students. he can't detect a lee felix. though seungmin continued with a winning speech, and returned back to his seat.

the person he's been waiting for hours is now beside his seat.

❝yah, you idiot. you came late but thank you very much for coming.❞

❝hehez sorry 'bout that. i had to help my parents.❞

❝why didn't you told me you were busy? you didn't need to come here if you were busy.❞

❝it wasn't much, but that wasn't the reason.❞ felix said, ❝let's talk somewhere private.❞

❝okay.❞ seungmin replied.

they both proceed to the empty student lounge. 

❝i was thinking too much about us. what will happen next? are we going to still be together after uni? a stupid overthinking, i should've came on time.❞

❝lixie... i'll publish my books with your illustrations and your parents' company. we won't be apart, i promise i'll always be with you.❞

❝ah i feel better.❞ felix said.

❝let's go to see the sunset, shall we?❞ seungmin asked.

off they go to the rooftop, sitting next ro each other. felix leaned his head on seungmin's shoulder.

❝congratulations on your win. you deserve it seungminnie. what should i give you?❞ felix whispered softly.

❝thank you. no need to give me anything, all i need is for you to be sure that you are my best part.❞
