Third Person’s POV

Namjoon just got out of his bathroom when his phone rang.

“Hello. Hey Jackson, it has been a while. You haven’t changed much since college huh? Yeah, no. I’m not married but I’m not single right now. Yeah, that’s why I will pass for the time being. Anyhow, I won’t be free for a while. Yeah, sorry dude. Idiot! Hahaha. I’m quite serious! It’s like I finally got him. But there’s something. Yeah, maybe something like that. I’ll make it up to you someday dude. Sure, bye.” Namjoon

The call came from a friend he had during college, Jackson Wang. Like him, he was also a transferee but younger than him. They became friends when they were enrolled in the same international subject way back in college, since then they were together when it comes to ‘playing’.

Jin’s POV

“Huh? The movies?”

Namjoon asking me while I was at the pantry making some coffee.

“Yeah there’s a movie coming out that I want to see. While we’re out, I also want to go shopping. So want to hang out for the day? How about it?” Namjoon

“Y-yeah, th-that’s fine with me.”

“Really? Then it’s decided! We’ll go next Saturday. It’s a date. A date.” Namjoon flashing his oh so famous dimple smile

“I-Idiot”

“Make sure to keep it free. See you later Jin.” Namjoon

I was left there dumbfounded on what the hell just happened.

While eating my dinner, my thoughts drift to Namjoon’s offer.

The movies huh? A d-date? Hmmm.  It’s not like we have that sort of relationship. No really….
I grabbed my phone.

“Saturday. How’s the weather going to be over the weekend? Oh, it seems that there’s a cloudy mark. Hmmm, the weather. So it’ll be cloudy in the afternoon. Well, it’s fine as long as it doesn’t rain and we’re going to the movies anyways. But if it rains, maybe we won’t go?”

I put my plate and utensils on the sink before sitting in front of the tv grabbing the packet of almonds.

“1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.”

I placed seven almonds on my hand then started nibbling on one.

“Maybe I should ask Namjoon? Ahh, whatever.”

Friday
I am on the cafeteria eating lunch and my thoughts are still on the upcoming Saturday.

Today, when I looked at the weather report, it stated that this Saturday would be sunny. So that means that the weather will be fine. What should I wear? I can just wear what I usually wear. What do I usually wear again? I got so used to suits that I completely forgot what casual wear feels like. What did I wear the last time I went out with Namjoon? Clothes. Maybe I should go buy some too.

My train of thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the voices on the table near me.

“Oh? Don’t you think you’re getting too worked up? It’s okay not to do much. But if you put too much effort, then won’t it make the other person feel uncomfortable?” Female 1

My heart suddenly feels like it would jump out of my chest from what I heard.

“You’re right. Then I’ll just wear what I normally wear.” Female 2
“Yeah. You should only get dressed up for special occasions. But, keep away from too bright colors.” Female 1
